Pro: Very reasonably priced. They have a food court and it isn't overpriced and has decent food so that's a plus. Free shuttle to/from the city if you put your name on a list. (Never got on it though, it gets filled up pretty quick). Saunas are great and there's so many different types. Relatively clean.
Cons: It can be VERY crowded and noisy and just not relaxing in some parts of the place, the two biggest pools especially. Saunas can be very loud with people talking too. Pretty much everyone walks around without footwear which is very unhygienic. The staff in the massage areas (the lady at the reception counter) is very rude and unpleasant, which can be a real bummer in the middle of your spa day.
My recommendation: Go for the view and for a getaway experience on a random weekday. Get in early to have a better experience. Take slippers.

This spa was amazing with spectacular views. A multitude of saunas, and steam rooms. Hots tubs and bath houses and a quiet lounge to sit and take in the views, read, sleep or whatever quiet activity you fancy. My wife and I stayed overnight on Friday, a crowded time to be there, but still a great experience. We ate at the food court which was pricey but good. The portions made up for the price.. definitely enough for two to share..and everything from burgers to sushi available. My wife had several services..a 60 min shiatsu massage, 30 min foot massage, and a 60 aromatherapy massage while I had a VIP buff pedicure. The services are overpriced, and in my opinion not worth it. My wife enjoyed her foot massage, but the shiatsu massage left her sore (she never had one)and therefore the next days aromatherapy massage was too much for her. Also the attitude of Lucy, the massage therapist for the aromatherapy, made her feel rushed and tense, the polar opposite of how she should be feeling. Overall a wonderful day spa and definitely worth an overnight stay or more if your pockets can handle it. P.S. Weekday visits would probably be best if you want to avoid the crowds. The spa is open til midnight.

The place is great with a very nice design, the whole building is very modern. You get free valet parking on the spot. There is many pools and spa rooms and you can spend lots of time there. The staff is not so nice to customers, people are loud and don't keep the place quiet even in small rooms like the sauna, I found it very inconvenient, the security people don't say anything about it. The crowd is mostly young people and they don't care much to respect others and the calm atmosphere of the place as it should be. The place is crowded on nice days. You must walk barefoot inside the building, only outside flip-flops are allowed. You can get as many towels as you wish. Be careful men and women walk naked in their separate areas 🙈.

I came here to the spa with the family for a few hours of R&R. This review will focus on the food. First keep in mind this is a spa and a fairly pricey one. You have to expect the food to be kind of expensive, if not outright high end. Usually at these kinds of captive places you usually just get expensive and often not even good. I'm glad to say that the food was surprisingly good. It was expensive but presented tastefully, relatively large quantity, and most importantly, tasted good. The ramen broth was rich and noodles had the classic springiness. The burger was tasty and cooked properly. It came with fries that were crispy and tasty. The tuna poke was full of fresh veggies but could have used a touch more tuna. It was dressed with a bright ginger vinaigrette. There is a wide variety of food options there for everyone to find something to try.

Talk about a happy place! SoJo Spa is a lovely, clean, modern facility with a riverfront skyline view of Manhattan. The friendly staff guided us through our very first visit where we enjoyed the unique saunas, fabulous hot tubs, rejuvenating hydrotherapy pools, a heated outdoor infinity pool, a delicious healthy cafe and super clean facilities. Everywhere you look you see iconic views of the Hudson River or well placed bamboo and natural accents. Even the showers were nice. I can't wait to being more people here!
