Sonic Drive-In

It’s been a while since I went, and I used to frequent this restaurant while living in the South (AR). Much better down there. Up here the service seems slow and the staff are not quick to show interest in taking your order. Not planning on going back anytime soon. It may have improved since I’ve been though.

We love Sonic. We don't have one locally so we always try to find one when we are traveling. The odrer taker was super fun and friendly. Our order came so quickly,too ! Great experience!

I was looking forward to eating tater tots. I ordered a large with some chicken bits and was told it would be about 10 minutes because there weren't any made. I let them know that I want in a rush. Within two minutes, I was served. The girl told me there were indeed some made. I was on my way home and jumped on the highway southward. I opened my food on the road and began eating. The tots were cold and not tasty enough to eat. The chicken was room temperature and was difficult to chew. I'm not sure if things were under a heat lamp, or if they were just old. This was disappointing for my first, and likely only, visit to this Sonic.

This place is always so dang slow. No matter how busy or slow they are. The employees are not the friendliest. Orders are often wrong. Cannot stand that they allow that poor excuse of a car show go on in summer. So if you want Sonic on a Sunday evening during spring / summer I would rethink it. The place is overcome with crappy cars and teenagers to the point that they take up literally Every spot so there is no where to park and it is impossible to drive in the lot at all.
