Sopris Printing

I have used Shawn's services for three years now. He does digital captures for me from watercolor paintings. I have him produce cards and/or fine art prints for me of these paintings. His color matching is superb as is the print quality. He has also done excellent photo restoration for me of 100 + year old images. It's a pleasure to work with Shawn. I couldn't recommend him more highly. We are fortunate to have such talent in our valley.

I have been working with Shawn at Sopris Printing since he set up his business. He is helping me to develop a computer portfolio of my watercolor paintings and he produces prints and cards for sales. I have also seen the beautiful photographic reproductions and restorations that he has done for others. Shawn is truly amazing! He captures colors perfectly and always produces prints of the finest quality. He is readily available to work with me individually to get exactly what I want. And, he charges reasonable prices. We are lucky to have such a talented professional in our valley. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Shawn by another photographer and am so glad about that. I had a large project of images for the Bank of Colorado with images 40"x60" and some 30"x60". Sharpening and high resolution at that size was a challenge for some of the images, but Shawn handled them perfectly. He even taught me some things about editing and print settings, along with sharpening options. He also purchased the paper I wanted to use. I've been printing my own work up to 24" wide for many years, but Shawn has brand new state of the art printers and knows how to get the most from an image. I will use him for all my large prints. I highly recommend him for all your printing needs, whatever the size.

Shawn at Sopris Printing has been capturing images of my paintings and making fine art prints for me for over 8 years. His attention to detail and color matching is superior. I have heard from a couple of my fellow professional artists that they have gone back to Sopris Printing after trying to use more conveniently located printers. The quality did not compare. I would never use another printer.

I discovered Shawn Tolle ten years ago and have been a devoted customer ever since. As a photographer, I was looking for a printer who would take the time to work with me until the image I saw through my lens was translated to paper or canvas. Shawn is that person. He is the finest printer on the Western Slope, a great technician with an impeccable eye for detail and a genuine concern for his clients and their art and craft. Patience, humor, technical skill, outstanding service, collaboration and an artful eye. I always leave Shawn's studio knowing more than when I arrived.
