A historic area and fun place to visit. Good views of the Brooklyn bridge from upper deck in the mall section. Best to see on a nice, warm, sunny weekend day when there's apt to be street performers and lots going on. Many restaurants to choose from, ranging from $ to $$$$. The inside mall has some good shops and a food court that is pretty reasonable. If you drive parking in nearby lots is very expensive. You must be living right if you can find free street parking.

Nice weather makes this a beautiful walk around. Great views from here to the Brooklyn Bridge and very close to Lower Manhattan. Nice little shops around, a lot of people though (obviously expected). A must see while in NY city.

Mad fun even in the rain. Came out for the annual NAMI "I will listen" walk accross the bridge, happened in the rain again! It's a beautiful part of the city and it's where we picked up our RJD2 party cruise last summer 😏 Something for everybody down here highly recommend it.

Gorgeous atmosphere and cute shops by the waterside. Unfortunately there was some insane construction going on that was incredibly loud and ruined the whole experience. I'll try to return soon when there is no more construction.
