Sperino’s Little Italy

We were looking for a new pizza place to try in the Burlington area and came across Sperino's. It was a clean little bar and grill (although they do have a large banquet room attached). We tried the cauliflower crust gluten free pizza, and were impressed with it's test and texture. I am unsure if it's made on site or bought frozen, the bartender/waitress did not know. We also had a 3 topping deep dish pizza. It was an average pizza but not quite our style, the crust was a bit dry for the amount of sauce and it could have used a bit more cheese. They did have a great looking bloody Mary bar (visit was on a Sunday). Not sure if we will be back or not, but there are definitely worse places to get a pizza.

Walked in there and were completely ignored by the staff. We were looked at by everyone already seated as if we were weird... Honestly felt as if race was an issue but not sure. We were made very uncomfortable, we waited but still we weren't acknowledged so we ended up walking out we passed by the waitress and still she said nothing.

Would give a zero, but not an option. Terrible food. Bosco sticks or crunchy with cold cheese in the middle. Pizza was so crunchy you could hear other people eating it. The pizza did not even taste good. Pop was flat. Spaghetti taste like it was from a jar and noodles were mushy. Not to mention the fact that we ordered three kids meals and one pizza and paid $85. Never make that mistake again. Live and learn.

A lot of hype about their pizza - don't believe all of it. If you want a pizza and you're in Elkhorn, I would recommend it. But don't go out of your way for it.

Pizza was ok. Service was ok. Process were high. Just not worth the cost in my book.
