I rent at their Aksarben area apts and have been here for over a year, regrettably. Last month, my personal vehicle was towed at the direction of their complex mgr and he lied to the tower and said it belonged to a non tenant and had not moved "for some time" I drive every day to work unless I have the day off. Upon retrieving my car, it had been vandalized, broken into, robbed of the interior contents and had the catalytic converter stolen from underneath it. NP Dodge's response after informing them of their huge blunder? Nothing, not even an offer to get the car back. Fortunately, there is ample evidence to prove my legitimacy and truthfulness and plenty to highlight their illegal towing and unethical business behavior. See you in court!
I've downgraded my review of this apartment complex due to the HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT running it. They constantly HARRASS and SPAM their tenants on a daily basis. Their maintenance crew doesn't even install air filters properly, they just set them in the basket. Someone remove these slumlords. No, I'm not contacting you with more information, stop harassing me.
My one bedroom lease is up at the end of June and I've had only pleasant experiences with Spring Acres. I feel most poor reviews left under these apartments are done so by people who think the world is at their disposal. As if they're the only people staying at the complex. Maintenence has fixed every issue I've had within a few days and management has always been helpful and informative. If you're looking for a well run property in a safe environment this is a good match.
I’ve recently moved to Omaha and looking for a place has been very stressful. I was referred to Spring Acres by a friend and I experienced very pleasing customer service from Madysen the assistant manager. After touring the property not only does it have beautiful scenery but the units are spacious and decently priced. If you’re looking for an affordable apartment with a great leasing office I highly recommend Spring Acres!
If I could I’ll give this place a 0 to be honest... Me and my family currently live here now and I’m quite disappointed. I remember having to go without hot water in our unit for 3 WHOLE DAYS.. it’s required by the law to get it done within 24 hours and it took way longer.. we’ve had mold in our shower places covered with paint and no matter how long you try and clean it it’s still a problem. Will call the office to tell them our sink is clogged and it’s overflowing.. they’ll say maintenance will come but they never show up. The outside of this place is beautiful but the insides are a whole different story.. if I’m being truthfully honest. Don’t waste your time here. Find somewhere worth living..
My husband and I lived at Spring Acres for 4 years, from 2017 - 2021. I give the place 5 stars because it has always been safe, clean, affordable, and a great location. That is enough for me! Living in an apartment is always going to come with tradeoffs...there's no perfect apartment. This complex is older. The buildings have been renovated but the renovation used cheaper materials i.e. laminate counters rather than granite, black appliances rather than stainless steel, etc.. You also have to share a washer and dryer on the ground floor with 16 apartment units. They have a large maintenance crew, who I always see working diligently. As this is an older complex, there are plenty of maintenance issues that come up, but I can tell they're being worked on and addressed as quickly as possible. The property grounds are absolutely beautiful. There are many lovely big trees, so the complex has a lot of natural beauty in spring, summer, and fall. The apartment buildings all have outside doors that lock, so the building is secure no one can just come in off the street and walk up to your front door. I feel the office staff have always been attentive and professional. Also, the prices are reasonable...we had a two bedroom apartment with a garage; rent + monthly fees was below $1000, which is pretty good. My husband was doing a 4-year medical residency at CHI Health Bergan Mercy. This was a very convenient location for him to get to the hospital. We really enjoyed living next to Aksarben Village and the Keystone walking trails. There's easy access to the interstate so you can get about town quickly. Overall, I'd recommend this place.
Currently live here. We have had a HUGE rollie pollie problem. We had the pest control guy come out, he sprayed and it seemed to clear them out for a day and then they immediately came back. I have a baby on the way within the next couple of weeks and I can no longer handle the amount of bugs this apartment has. Currently looking at legal ways to get out of the lease without having to pay a huge fine because this is absolutely ridiculous.
Students- this may seem like a great deal. There will probably be some initial rent deduction to lure you in. I assure you though- this is not a great company to rent from and they will wheeze any penny out of you that they can. So I implore all you young, poor students to avoid renting here for location convenience. You’d be better off taking the bus.
I recently visited a friend who lives at Spring Acres and really enjoyed my stay. The units are big and the hallways were really clean. If I lived in town I would definitely rent here. I had to print something and the office staff was really nice and helpful.
It took them 22 days to treat bed bugs after reported, extremely unresponsive, hard to get a call returned. Totally unwilling to offer a refund in any way. Had lived there for 2.5 years at this point without a single late rent check or other issue. Totally unwilling to take care of a good tenant. Good apartments, but horrendously managed. Update: Have been moved out for a few months and there is a lengthy battle back and forth between carpet replacement. They fabricated issues with "burn marks" that must be replaced and never existed. They are trying to charge nearly $1,000 for total carpet replacement when there was no more than 3 years of living wear and tear. Turns out they simply need to re-carpet all units and are trying to stick former residents with the damages. There is bad management and crooked management, and this is crooked. They should smell fishy from a mile a way because they will try to cheat you out of your money. Stay as far away from these crooks as possible, worst management I could possibly imagine, sad to see them cheating people out of their money.
