Start Over Rover

We have adopted from them twice now. They are great to work with. The only complaint is their limited hours. It's hard to get there from this part of town if you work.

An actual "no destroy" animal shelter. Don't bother with the Shelter in York County Nebraska. This one actually does NOT destroy animals if something happens or is wrong. Sadly There are OTHER animal shelters out there, that will take a cat or dog back and then destroy them, if the adopter says "the animal was too much to handle". Start over is not a "simple solutions" shelter. It is the actual shelter that follows through with the preservation of life. Something that does NOT have a Reset button. If business was better these days, If I could, I myself would put a 1/4 to half million dollar donation into this place for a bigger facility yet. But 2008 to 2016 weren't kind years to any business owner. Investing in funding this non profit shelter would be the best investment someone could make in helping the community and Nebraska out. Really, start over rover is a platinum star non-profit organization and one that just doesn't take funds and spend it on banquets and only put 1/6th of the donations back into itself (like other non-profits I know of). STart Over rover can definitely move more cats and dogs for adoption if they can get the money and funds to keep the public hours open longer.
