The Cat House

My husband and I adopted our cat from the cat house. We can tell that she was very well taken care of while there, and they are very thorough in helping your transition from their shelter to your house. They have a fairly extensive application to fill out, but once you have completed it, they will contact you within a couple days. If you can't adopt just yet, I would recommend visiting just to play with the cats!

Best place to adopt! We adopted little Burlington from here 5 months ago. I was very happy that he got such great care before we adopted him. Volunteers are expert and the place is well cared for as well as their feline inhabitants. I am, have, would and do recommend this place. It was a great experience for all of us! Thank you to TCH!

I adopted my second 🐈 from the Cat House. Was overwhelmed by their love of cats and the seriousness with which they place their feline friends. After adopting, they follow up with you for a couple of months to make sure the adoption is a good fit. I think my cat, ember, was formerly the pet of an older person. At 20lb, despite looking like a mini-panther; he is a hardcore cuddler with anxiety issues. The staff at the cat house know the personalities of the cats and can help ensure a good fit. I cannot say enough good things about the Cat House. Highly recommend checking it out!

Came here to see some cats to potentially adopt. Was a neat little facility and the staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaints are that they are only open every other day for a couple of hours, and when they are open they get crowded with people (at least that is how it was during my one visit). Also, in one of the rooms one of the cats had thrown up and one of the workers saw it and didn't seem to have any interest in cleaning it up.

Adopted my new buddy here. He needed an extra shot, and they scheduled for me to come back for free. Great organization.
