Was going 51 in a 50 zone and the trooper said the speed limit was 40, sign said 50 lol. Also told me I had 3 days to respond to the ticket, ticket says 15 days. Slowly losing respect for you guys

Want to say a heartfelt thank you to Trooper Hodgeson who stopped when our car was disabled on hwy 101 between Sequim and Port Townsend last night Dec 19 at about 5:30. We were wedged between traffic and a ditch without power and no response from a towing company. He assessed the situation gave us advice and called the Evergreen Towing company in Sequim and stayed there with his lights going until a tow truck appeared. We got home, nerves shaken but safe by about 9 pm. Thank you for the great help!

The 101 highway from Port Townsend to Port Angeles is a route with so many user violations that it has become more and more dangerous every year with frequent accidents, some of them fatal. Yet, drivers go 80+ mph there and in 45 mph zones ride up on the bumper to bully drivers into letting them pass. I rarely see a patrol car stationed to curb this activity. Drivers think this is a country road through farmland. It is, in fact, one of the most dangerous routes in Washington's Olympic Peninsula.
