We had a craving for sushi and stopped in. The place was pretty small but nice. The service was really good and they were really nice. The sushi was presented really well. I had smoked salmon sashimi and sweet shrimp that came out really cool looking. I wish they had spice scallop sashimi though. The gyoza was my sons favorite. The sauce that came with them was awesome! So good i used it for my sushi rolls! Thanks guys! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls.
Me and my husband got super sick from the food. We throw up as soon as we got out from the restraint. The steak tasted like really old. And some fish were not fresh. We ended not fishing our food and left.I definitely don’t recommend eating here. Unless you wanna get sick. I wasted my money and time here.
Have been here 2x while visiting family in Columbus and it’s a go-to, reliable sushi place. All standard or lower prices and always had nice staff!! They normally have designated tables for pickup orders/organization which makes the restaurant a bit smaller and less appealing/professional.
I love it here! I had the Paradise roll, NY roll, and spicy yellowtail. Service was great, very attentive. And the food was a knock out!Food: 5/5
This is a quiet little sushi shop close to the movie theater, which is why we chose it so we could have dinner and make the show in time. We ordered sushi, gyoza, and udon noodles with chicken and vegetables. The sushi rolls were good. The tuna and smoked salmon were okay. The rice fell apart under the fish when picking it up with chopsticks. They say that is the mark of a novice sushi maker. The gyoza was delicious, especially the house sauce that was a balanced mix of sweet, acidic, and spicy. The pasta wrap was light and thin, not thick and doughy. I would order double for the table next time. The udon noodles were thick and chewy with a sweet/savory sauce. The vegetables were tasty, but the check was dry. Service was very good.
Amazing food, Amazing service! 1st time here and will be back again, the morning roll was absolutely fantastic
We have eaten here many times. Dinning in is always great, very kind and willing to explain or help change anything that you order if you don't like or want extra of anything. We get take-out a lot, only one time did they mess up an order so they gave us credit with them to order a full replacement the next time we were there. Customer service is wonderful. Vegetarian options: They are always willing to make food substitutions to make sure people are able to enjoy their food. Kid-friendliness: We have taken our daughter with us since she was new born, she is soon going to be 4 years old. They give and help with kids seats if needed, they will let you bring in lil toys. They will even make sure to special make any food so your child can have some too. A lot of times workers will stop by just to play with our daughter to give us a minute to eat and enjoy.
Sushiko is a hidden gem in Columbus. I've been there on multiple occasions and I've always had great sushi, great service, and a good time. Overall if you're looking for a non-pretentious, no-nonsense sushi joint look no further.Food: 5/5
Specifically asked for a tuna roll instead of a California roll because I am allergic to shellfish. Charges me an extra dollar and then proceeds to make shrimp part of my sushi for the combo platter. Had to throw away 2 pieces the shrimp and the piece it was touching. Not the first time this has happened.
The restaurant was clean, the food was delightful and presented beautifully, and the staff was incredibly attentive, kind, and quick. The atmosphere was relaxed and there was plenty of space between tables to feel safe during Covid. I definitely would like to go back!
