Tarahumara Restaurant

The food is great but customer service seemed to be second hand. I have been here a couple times. First time was amazing but the last couple of times I was basically ignored by the wait staff. I understand your busy but when you say you say you'll be right back to help me and I don't get any help for a half hour. That is not good customer service.

The food was tasty, similar to Los Hermanos in Utah County. The salsa bar was terrific and had more than 8 different choices. The service was great and the staff were friendly. Our food orders arrived in less than 15 minutes, alas, they were not busy, still, we didn't wait long at all. The chips and salsa appetizer were wonderful! It was all you can eat chips and they were warm & fresh.

Maybe I had high expectations but this restaurant was just not that good. The service was worse than the food, unfortunately. They weren't mean but very unresponsive or hospitable. I was not impressed and was left to ask for help when we needed a cup for a drink. The food was plain and didn't come with extras or condiments for the simplest meal such as the tacos, there was simply meat inside tortillas. I really liked the salsa bar, great idea. The Chile Verde was actually decent but only came with tortillas which is not really great. All in all it was just a very basic, plain, boring and certainly bland Mexican restaurant and definitely not worth what they're charging. The atmosphere and decoration was what they must be spending their money on.

Ordered one sipping tequila for me. My friend had two, dressed, different tequila. Ordered a la carte. Two tamales each, nothing else. No, not even rice, beans, or tortillas. $59.45, nice tip too. That was 4 hours ago, but cannot let it go. I have tried to give it a go, a few times since other disappointments. No mas! Amigos

Wonderful Mexican good and service and such a good place for kids and large groups. There isn’t much to eat in midway so it’s great that this place is there and provides a sit down experience with lots of options. I got the steak fajitas and was happy. You have to try not to get filled up in chips with all the amazing salsas that are available. I would recommend stopping by if you only have a few days in Midway
