Beautiful views and a great part of local history.  I have enjoyed coming here since I was a kid and would definitely recommend taking the drive.  The lake views are incredible.  The trails are very well maintained and they are great for a nice hike.  There is plenty of parking and great accommodations.

Such a gem, we were so happy to discover it. Light house was a site to see
 Beach is gorgeous. We visited in the snow so we didn't explore too much, but we can't wait to come back this summer and walk all the trails we seen and enjoy the beach and gift shop.

We went this weekend and it was great the birding there is excellent there were so many warblers and two snowy owls so I definitely recommend going there
