Teppanyaki Sushi & Seafood Buffet

For the most part, we like the food at this location. Unfortunately, the service has become horrible. The sign on the building and on the website says "Opens at 10:30 a.m." The food has never fully been out at this time, so we wait until 11:00 a.m. before going. We went this past Sunday and at 11:05 a.m. half the food was still missing from the bars. The "hostess" seemed bothered and rude. Further, as is typical, the waitresses were eating. It was a bit of a put-off when our waitress approached us and asked if we wanted something to drink WHILE she was chewing her food! If you are going to advertise being open at 10:30 a.m. - put the food out at that time. Perhaps your staff could also eat their meals at a time other than business hours.

I love this Buffet and rarely eat any of the Chinese food but mainly go for the Hibachi Grill in the back and the seafood. The Flounder is usually very well baked very tender and delicious. They do have some very nice sushi rolls in addition.

The food was great but the Crab's was awful smelled like Ammonia. My brother opened one and went to the bathroom to wash his hands. My daughter told a man who works there and he said crab's are good we got them yesterday. I don't know what was wrong with the Crab's But the smell was so bad we didn't eat them. This is my first bad experience here.

Ate here last week & I'm not sure how this place is staying in business because the owner/host was rude, the food was cold & tasted like it should of been throw out hours ago, waitresses and whoever else worked there stood around the section we were in and gabbed nonstop while watching the Tv. Husband fixed plate took one bite & said that's disgusting, tried acouple different things & it was all bad. As soon as we left his stomach started churning, finally got him home from our bad choice of a dinner date & he spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom with horrible stomach cramps. I checked their Food Inspection Record & wish I would of read that first before going here. Much better buffets in CENTRAL PARK.

Sadly this place has really gone downhill over the years. Now it is dirty with cold food. Gave it one last try today and was sorely disappointed. The hibachi meat looked questionable at best and the chilled shrimp were overcooked and chalky. Pizza was stale and cold (I know, it's a Chinese buffet but their pizza used to be great). The General Tso chicken was so sweet it was yucky. Service is sluggish too. Update March 2018: For some reason, I gave them another try. The place looks run down and the food offerings were sub-par at best.
