I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars but I really couldn't. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I only do reviews that are brutally honest. I have nothing but great things to say about the ambience, food, speed of service, and friendliness of the young female and male wait staff. My family and I had a small gathering and when I say the food was good, even my dad enjoyed his food and he is very very picky. The waitress who took care of us was so phenomenal. She got all of our orders right 100% and she was friendly. She came back to our table to check on us and made us feel very much at home. The only critique I have for this restaurant is to look at the fact that it is the year 2018. You may have guest come into your restaurant from all over the world. You should train every member of your staff to be pleasant and accommodating to all of your patrons. There was an older gentleman in your staff who came out and stared at us in the most ridiculous and uncomfortable way. This is not the 1950's/1960's. Many things that were legal then are illegal now. Please educate your staff to leave their personal beliefs at home and treat all guests with respect.

You know, I'm not sure if this place deserves five stars or not but you know what you're getting into when you go here. The food is good and the prices are unbeatable. I love eating here. If you're not used to it it might not seem like a great place but trust me just have a meal there you will enjoy it.

Our favorite local restaurant! Home cooking! Breakfast, lunch or dinner..they have the best! Great prices and staff. My husband loves the omelettes..I love the chicken fried steak with gravy. Close to home..we like to go at least once a week. Never disappoint. And there is a smoking room! It is very appreciated and popular.

Great food and great service. They do got a smoking section (which never bothered me a bit, but may bother some) but the food makes up for it, plus the atmosphere makes a great flashback to diners back in the day. I also recommend the popcorn shrimp basket if you come by

Great food and not bad prices at all. The staff certainly is not in a hurry but they are friendly. It is a greasy spoon and definitely has the hole in the wall feel. One section of the restaurant is separated by a wall for smoking, however the smell does pervade the entire establishment. No complaints though and they do take to go orders.
