The Rustic is a local favorite. The atmosphere and vibe are truly unique, food is surprisingly delicious, and prices (both food and drink) in line with the area. One might wonder why I've only rated 3 out 5 stars....service. Out of the 5 plus times I've visited The Rustic I've yet to have a pleasant service experience. I understand the environment makes it difficult to have sections, patrons move around, it's extremely crowded, etc; however, I believe if Management put their focus on adequate staffing and more of a streamlined approach service would improve. I've watched Managers casually stand around, chatting with servers, etc. instead of truly Managing and ensuring tables were cleaned, food was coming out, drinks being ran, etc. Overall I do recommend The Rustic but if you are one for solid service this might not be your place.

Love the vibe. I’d say the best part about The Rustic is their brunch on the weekends. They serve their brunch family style, it’s plenty of food so not to fret. They have everything you could possibly crave during breakfast from sweet to savory. On top of the yummy brunch they have some stellar live music that plays around noon on Sundays (not sure about Saturdays). Their dinner menu tends to be lack luster but they have some great happy hour specials for drinks. I always like to bring out of towners to The Rustic because it has a pretty great “Texas” vibe going on. Highly recommend.

We went out to this wonderful bar on a Friday night to enjoy a date night. The weather was amazing so we decided to sit outside in the patio. There was no seating so we went back inside and got on the waiting list to request a table. They take down your number and give you a call once your table is ready that way you can walk around a get a drink while you wait without having to worry about loosing the connection on your device. I got a frose which was delicious!! We went outside and enjoyed the live band for a while. We got our table and got the beer can chicken which was so juicy and flavorful!! The staff was amazing and made sure that we always had everything that we needed. I love this place and will definitely be coming back soon.

I've been to The Rustic in another city, but 1st time @ the Dallas Uptown location. I have to say, it didn't disappoint. The Rustic really lives up to the name. The food was very fresh and fulling for a Saturday brunch.
Saturday Brunch is $17.00 per person and the menu is already set for you. All you have to worry about is what drinks to order.
There's a massive outdoor patio seating are with a full sound stage for musicians to perform. You can't go wrong eating here, therefore I suggest you grab the family or some friends and try it.

The food here is no joke! With a kitchen that is heavily subsidized by their bar, the Rustic is a hopping western themed gastro pub who's kitchen is seriously legit. The smoked pork chop was incredible. $8 pints and a massive selection of craft cocktails ensure that this venue is always crowded and a happening place. Do not go here if you looking for a nice quiet sit down dinner, but if you are looking at high energy, good food and good drinks, bring your boots and western spirit!
