The Ameritania Hotel

We spent a week at the Ameritania. Service in the hotel, from every position , was outstanding. The hotel is centrally located to the Theatre District, Central Park and Time Square. Access to all major subway lines is available within two blocks of the hotel. Rooms are small and dated but extremely clean. There is daily cleaning service The bed was comfortable. It would have been great to have had a microwave in the room. The heating / cooling system in the room worked perfectly. The Ameritania met all of of needs as travelers for a very reasonable price.

We stayed here for 10 nights and had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly, lovely lobby with fireplace & bar, excellent house keeping and right on times sq. No hidden fees & low deposit cost in comparison to other nyc hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel! Thanks guys!Rooms: 5/5

I stayed at the Ameritania in mid-December 2023. It was a for one person for a one night stay. The location of the hotel is absolutely great, just a couple blocks from Times Square, Central Park and Rockefeller Centre. The hotel itself is clean, well kept and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I arrived earlier than expected and was even able to get a room early! Overall I had a great stay and will likely stay here again next time I am in NYC.

Very decent price. Rooms were larger than most in the same price range. Beds were comfortable. Very easy walk to Time Square and most theaters. Angelo's Pizza around the corner isn't just pizza. Very good food. Front desk service was great. Majid was very accommodating. Doormen couldn't be nicer. Coffee and tea bar in the lobby was nice to grab a cup on the way out each day. I would definitely stay there again.
