The Comfort Diner

First time eating at The Comfort Diner. I literally just found this little restaurant on Google based on my location at the time. Based on the reviews and the menu I decided to go. We were seated quickly because there was a table waiting for us (or so it seemed 😁) when we arrived. This was on a Sunday around 12 pm and it was busy. We were waited on (in good time) by a young lady named 'Alex'. She was pleasant and prompt. Despite it being busy we did not have to wait long for the food to come out. The food was good and the feel of the place was also good. It's nice to just pop in to a random place and the experience be good. We will be back in the near future 😀.

My friend was visiting the city from out of town and wanted to eat food at a diner, real New York style. We googled and stumbled across The Comfort Diner which was only a 6 minute walk from her hotel. We were greeted and seated as soon as we stepped foot through the door. The food was absolutely amazing !! With everything being made from scratch, even down to their receipts, their Belgium Waffle should be quoted as the best thing on their menu !! Definitely coming back !

"This breakfast burrito is delicious but it is filling" - Ron Burgundy. I had extra sausage in mine, tight packing and very tasty. My wife says the eggs in her breakfast are up there with the best shes ever had. Would recommend.

We visited this Diner twice. The first day was a Sunday and we returned the next day in the evening. The Sunday the place was full great Atmosphere great comfort food. I had a corned beef sandwich and my wife a mac and cheese. Both were great. The Monday evening was very different. It was early but there were different staff. I had Reuben Sandwich and my wife had the mac and cheese again. The Sandwich wasn't so great. I gained the impression that on Sunday the place was run by the owners. Had we only visited on Sunday I would have rated it 5 stars.

Great service and tasty pancakes. The All American breakfast was a little disappointing as I forgot to order it with fries and bacon. Shame on me 😬 The interior have seen its better days, but that’s part of the charms. I would definitely recommend this as an American breakfast experience!
