The Edinburg Center

Sadly, I agree with the three other reviews below. Agency issues, PR and politics clearly take precedence over client care and needs. I want to cry when I read the Edinburg Mission Statement. In my experience everything they CLAIM to do, which is desperately needed, they don't even come close to providing. In some cases, they don't even try.

This organization emotionally abused my friend, who was a client. They refused to help with her needs or assist her in obtaining them elsewhere. She has now been without appropriate, necessary treatment for over a year.

I agree with the “legitimate” reviewer here - this place does need to be seriously investigated by an impartial company. They are disorganized, they are very unprofessional and they don’t understand, nor care, about the importance of honest communication with their clients. When a staff member is caught red-handed in a lie to a client, that staff simply denies the allegation and then that is the end of the client’s complaint with no further option for any recourse. This pervasive attitude has created an environment for misconduct and client abuse with no accountability.

The Edinburg’s stated philosophy puts the client’s needs as their first priority. From my personal experience, the clients needs take a definite back seat to in-house politics and personal agendas.
