Almost closing I arrived to return a package that I had bought on Amazon. The staff was fast there were several people in line when I got there. I'm sure they had a long shift it looked like this particular store has a lot of business. They were efficient and friendly and seemed to enjoy the work they're doing. A+
I used this store to ship a package for an eBay sale. I purchased extra packaging material to further protect my item. The item was damaged during shipping and come to find out the extra packaging material was never added to the package. To make matters worse, the employee never asked me for the declared value of my item and left it at the default amount. After UPS completed the damage report, I am only receiving a check for the false declared value. UPS Store #1815 is refusing to pay the difference to make this right even though it was THEIR employee who was responsible for both issues. Needless to say, I will never use UPS Store #1815 for my shipping needs in the future. I encourage anyone reading this review to use a different UPS Store to ship their items.
Like many of the reviewers have stated, packages seem to just disappear when you drop them off at this location. Three separate times Amazon packages didn't make it back to their return destination even though I have receipt showing I dropped them off here. I am not sure what's going on here but it seems nefarious and I won't return to this location.
Went to return a pair of glasses and was so happy this store was open Sundays since I work Monday-Saturday. There was a young woman working this afternoon who was incredibly kind and helpful. I have social anxiety and I felt nauseous before coming in to the store because I'd never been in there and didn't know what I needed to do with my package, but this woman was very friendly and made my whole experience comfortable and easy. I know it's silly, but few people ever put my anxiety to ease like that and it meant a lot to me.
I don't even know what to write at this point. They may be cheating me out of 300$. Have never been treated like this from a shipper. UPS corporate says we are definitely owed a refund but this store is trying to get more money or they say they will lose the package. Unreal. In Holiday Manor I would not expect this. Hopefully they change their tune and eventually provide some help
Have shipped here for years having family out of state. Christmas and birthday gifts, cards with checks and cash and rare items... thousands of dollars worth if goods over time. It’s surprising to see anyone with issues here, because they are always cordial, helpful, and eager to please, especially the owners, the Sparrows. We always chat about UK basketball and football, and golf! They certainly still have my business.
As a retired UPS employee, I'm still faithful to the company except I will not use this UPS Store location any longer. They used to be excellent but within the last 6 to 8 months, I've had a few issues that has caused me to go to Kohl's for my Amazon returns. I am not a Kohl's customer and dreaded going there but I have to admit, it is a much more pleasant experience than this UPS store has been of late. I get the feeling that the UPS Store may be sick of dealing with Amazon returns. They won't be dealing with mine any longer.
DO NOT use this store. Second time IN A ROW of a complete disappearance of a package. That is not a coincidence. They will scan your package as if to show it being "picked up" and then claim the driver lost it. Zero liability on these stores. Packages don't just "miss" scans multiple times through multiple facilities, let alone two packages within one month. Not surprised multiple claims of employees opening packages at the store.
I came in there today and there was a young lady and she was busy. She remained calmed and got everybody out in a quick amount of time and made sure she satisfied all her customers. She was very helpful and recommend for me to put all packages in a box to ship out instead of individually. And saved me money. Definitely will be coming back. Great customer service.
Had a very pleasant experience having to ship something out and I'm glad I chose to go to this store. The employees were very friendly and helpful when explaining everything about the shipment. Will defiently be returning to use their services again.
