The Woodford Inn

This place was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Very clean and the staff is super friendly. I can’t remember the name of the little restaurant/bar but the food was excellent and I DESPERATELY wish I had the recipe for their bread pudding... INCREDIBLE! They didn’t have a huge whiskey selection behind the bar, but what they had was all cool stuff! Bartender was great. Morning breakfast was very good too. If you can, get the room with the jacuzzi tub. Comfortable, clean rooms and the bed gave me a great night’s sleep! I want to come back to the Bourbon Trail just so I can stay here again!

Man was this place nice. I forgot to take pictures i was having such a great time. The food was outstanding and the service was great. We ate here before catching a theatre production at Woodford Theatre. I will have to get pictures on my next visit.

Over rated and over priced, the setting is an old house so tables are scattered about the floor with no dividers or lamps hanging over to project the sound back down. This makes for a rather loud and intrusive dinner as not only do you hear every other patrons conversations, they also hear yours. The filet that I ordered was average at best and not worthy of the ~$30 a plate, my wife had an comparatively underwhelming salmon dish and the sides were of lukewarm temperature. There are better options to choose from in Georgetown or Lexington if you are looking for dinner at this price point.

Excellent food, creative recipes. Loved the bacon maple Brussels sprouts and bourbon maple salmon. Excellent bourbon selection. Quick service even though there was a large wedding occurring out back with catering from staff. Highly recommend!
