I had the Mr. Brown sandwich, which was albacore tuna with melted cheddar. Our waitress suggested whole grain bread, which was perfect. My husband got the Mr. Prospector, a turkey and ham combo. He said it was very good. My daughter enjoyed her salad with feta, black olives, and salmon, too. Good food, nice ambience, good service. This place is one of our favorites for breakfast -- and now for lunch!

My wife and I love coming here on "breakfast dates". Great food, great service, and homey atmosphere.

Atmosphere and service was great. The food was mediocre. Ordered the Giacomo (corned beef hash). The corned beef itself was good, but it was more like a dry, deconstructed hash.
First, a layer of plain breakfast potatoes, which, honestly, I think they were frozen. How hard is it to make fried breakfast potatoes fresh? They were dry, tasteless, and had hollow spots inside the semi-crunchy surface. If I'm going to spend $10 on a simplistic breakfast dish, I don't expect any component to be frozen.
Next, the corned beef. It was good. Good flavor. Thick and lightly chopped, you knew you were eating meat. That's where the cost came in.
Then three eggs cooked to order. That's their hash. If I'd known it was going to be as plain as it was, I would have ordered them sunny side up to help with how dry the dish was.
My wife and son had omelets, which looked very good, but I didn't taste them.

Our family went here for brunch on Sunday (first time). Very cute little place, and they do let you call ahead to put your name on the list so that's a huge plus. Service was 5/5, but the food was just lacking. Two of our group had the War Admiral which was sightly overcooked and just seemed like a bunch of frozen veggies thrown together in a pan. I was really excited to try their "soon to be famous" corned beef hash. Don't think it's ever going to get famous. The corned beef itself is very good, but all the did was dump it on their "pub fries" which seem to be nothing more than frozen home fries you'd buy at a grocery store. No peppers, no onions, so just pretty blah. The special blueberry pancakes were actually delicious, but they don't even have syrup bottles-they literally bring you packets of "syrup" which is nothing but corn syrup. On top of everything they started as a coffee house and no one was blown away by the house coffee. I hate to come off sounding harsh but making good breakfast food just isn't that complicated. I don't see us coming back in the future.
