We rented a storage unit here. We we’re coming in town to move our daughters belongings into this unit. From the first day we got the unit there were daily problems with her key fob not working. On the final move day. We were completely locked out of the unit. Customer service was not able to reset the key fob. They also said they would have a sight manager call. He never did. We waited 3 hours with no access and no call from management. This was after four calls to their customer service number. Terrible!
The wine storage and wine tasting room at the Long Street location are AWESOME! I'm so happy to be a member of the Tri-Village Wine Club. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.
The facility is very nice—clean, easy to access, secure, and nice restrooms. My only complaints—somebody was running a business out of the first unit right where everybody enters. Sometimes a group of 4 or 5 people would gather there with their storage door open, crowding the area in front of the elevators. Additionally, during the peak of the pandemic, none of them wore masks. This created an awkward and uneasy feeling for me when accessing my unit. My second complaint is likely not unique to Tri-Village—our prices went up at least twice in the brief time we were there. In addition, they initiated a requirement that each customer hold insurance for their unit. If we had not acquired it on our own, they would have provided the insurance and sent me the additional fee. I just don’t like the idea of people getting into a situation where they rely on a storage unit, then get forced into higher and higher payments. In my experience, the storage unit slowly built up and it was not easy to come up with a plan to exit. My inclination is that storage facilities know this, and take advantage of it. Just a gut feeling. I wont be getting another storage unit without a clear plan of exit prior to entering the agreement.
Employee that works there wanders around on his phone and doesn’t do work. He cut the lock on my unit when I told him not to and left all my stuff vulnerable when I was out of town. Additionally I called customer service 4 times to talk to a manager and never got a call. I was told I’d be called and that a manager was coming to the unit and he never showed. I called back and got a hold of the manager and he didn’t take responsibility for anything. Was not helpful and had an attitude. Do not use this storage unit. They are not organized, slack with their work, don’t care about their customers or their employees doing work. Lazy workers and management.
Wow, i have never felt so disrespected by someone hating their job so much. Literally getting cussed out over the phone over someone hating their job. If you look at all my written reviews.. they’ve always been 5 stars and respectfully and carefully placed them as to relationships are important nowadays.. but this is unacceptable.. would not recommend this place even tho I have not missed a single payment in storage rent for one year. What a loser of a management team cussing customers out. Get out of here
This location is terrific! Not only is it clean and well-organized, but the staff is wonderful, too! Our short-term storage needs turned into a long-term stay and they were very accommodating! We will use them again and highly recommend their services!
