You're fooling yourself if you really think the service here is different that a more mainstream bank. There's nothing courteous about courtesy overdraft. I closed my account 2018 after banking here for more than 20 years because they refused not to waive $60 in fees on my account after numerous similar issues were resolved without a fuss. The manager at the uptown location quite condescendingly noted that if I "don't have the money I should go to the loan department."

Big scam, Angela Muhammad mislead me with the wrong information. Now I have a hard inquire hit on my credit report. Please don't fall into these scammers. Rated zero stars. So awful. Stay away from this credit union. Stay far away.

I would rate zero stars if possible - very frustrating experience. The employees are not familiar with the products and provided misleading and wrong information regarding checking accounts. I would recommend finding a different bank. To make things less appealing, they ran out of cashiers checks without anyone being aware until they were trying to print one and the employee’s computer crashed three times while I was there. They also failed to provide me an in-person receipt or an email confirmation as they stated they would.

I needed to cash a check I received and I do not have a bank account. The check was drawn on this bank. I had no problem cashing the check. The clerks were friendly, helpful and SMILING! There was no wait, however, I visited during a slow period of day (about 2 p.m. on a Thursday). The establishment was easy to find. There was ample, safe, off street parking. Inside was a bit dated, but it was clean and tidy. This would definitely be an institution I would consider patronizing.

This is a good example of a business which cannot handle growth. As they grow bigger their service has become more complex and frustrating to access. My local branch no longer has a phone number I can call for help, instead I am forced to call a generic help line where I sit on hold for an hour easily. The folks at branches can be very helpful in person, but their online/phone services are so poorly run it's got me searching for a new credit union.
