Tsunami Restaurant - Union Heights

Absolutely beautiful building. It is very clean. As soon as you walk in the wait is all over you. Where can we seat you what would you like to drink. Amazing food, had some sushi, two different kinds and a beautiful beef platter , some wonderful wonderful sake. It was all extremely delicious. The waitress was very helpful, explained everything and each dish very well. It was a terrific experience for my first time there. So many different kinds of sushi, and many other kinds of food. If you don't like sushi you can get something else that will satisfy you. Their sake is wonderful they have so many different kinds. I will be going back. For sushi it was extremely reasonably priced. Everything was very fresh & very delicious.

We arrived at 5pm to have dinner with a group of 8. We came early due to the fact that you don’t accept reservations between 5-9pm. There was more than 70% of their tables vacant and the hostess told us it would be about 15 minutes to get two tables pushed together. We then sat there whole whole no one worked to get tables ready. Finally, at 5:20 someone went and pushed two tables together. We asked if we could be seated and they said that the table still needed waters. We waited until 5:30 before we were seated. During that time several others were seated and one couple even was seated and got up and left because no one came to serve their table. We like the food and our server was great but this isn’t the first time we have sat forever waiting to be seated with empty tables available. It’s annoying!

Awesome place! The chefs were quick to get out our rolls and they tasted amazing. We also asked our sushi chef for their favorite and they recommended something not on the menu. It was delicious. Great place with great service!

Great food! Sushi is fresh and can be made to order (we had someone that wanted it made with soy paper instead of seaweed). Service was good once we were seated... their idea of a 15 minute wait is four times as long by my watch...

Great food and service. Excellent sushi. Very reasonable happy hour prices all day Sunday.
