Tsunami Restaurant - River Park

I went with a group of friends for my friend’s birthday. The wait was 30 minutes longer than our reservation was scheduled for. After we finally got sat down it took at least 30 minutes for our waitress to come to our table and get us our drinks. It took about another 30 minutes before she came to take our order. Let’s just say, the entire stay was about 3 hours. A little bit ridiculous. At the end she tried splitting our order and ended up mixing up all the orders putting random drinks and random food items on different people’s tickets. The Tempura I ordered was cold when it came out and the portion size was for a mouse, which wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t 10.99$ a sushi roll. Definitely won’t eat here again. The restaurant is very clean and nice though, so there’s your 2 stars.

Excellent food and staff. Our family have food allergies and the staff here are very knowledgeable and take that very seriously. One of the only places we go to eat where I feel completely confident that no one will get exposed to allergens. Really quality and delicious food.

Very yummy food! However we did sit for a while trying to track down our waitress when we wanted to order, and get our check. Each about a 10 min wait. However it may have been a fluke because it was on a night when they were serving multiple prom groups. All in all the friendliness and the food was there selling point for me and the atmosphere was a big plus!

We had a party of 23 today (complete with kids of all ages and a gluten allergy) and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience we received! Our servers were so attentive and patient. We never went without refills and every single one of our orders was brought out correctly—even with all the complicated orders we threw at them. They also were happy to split the check many different ways for our convenience. Of course the food was amazing and half of our family who weren’t sushi lovers were converted after today!! Can’t say enough good things about Tsunami!

I'm still new to the Sushi game. This place is fantastic! Get a reservation. Good service and great food. The sushi rolls are so good! I've watched me and my friends crush some serious rolls.
