U-Haul Moving & Trailer Hitch Center of Altoona

Rented a vehicle trailer from this location. The trailer came off (they attached to truck) and caused damage to my truck. Had to sit and wait for people to assist to get it back on and called and notified them of what was going on. Upon return, not only was I given a cold shoulder about the damage they tried charging me for an extra day!!! I asked to speak to a manager and they said “he will call” it’s been over 11 days and that manager has not called and dodged all of my calls. I’ve spoken with customer service and area managers and filed formal complaints. This is the worst case of customer service I’ve ever seen. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Once they have your money and their property returned they don’t care. I will be posting this review all over the place for as many people to see as I can.

It's really nice. Kinda a pain in the ass thought. If you have a big u-haul truck the jackasses didn't make the door big enough to pull a truck in even though there is plenty of room to pull a truck in inside. Then you have to drag the stuff half way they the building on cars and put it on an elevator. Then they put a small elevator.

The staff is excellent in customer service, knowledgeable about products the company provides and extremely friendly making it a pleasant experience.

The staff here were excellent. They came right out when I pulled up to return the truck I had rented. Then I left a set of keys in the cab, and they found them when I called back and had them waiting for me behind the counter. Night and day better than my typical U-haul experience.
