I really enjoy going to see Anna at Unified Healthcare. I had been going to the same primary care doctor for five years and when I went it was always such a hurried affair. Really no consult or plan of care was ever attempted. Always felt I was more of a cog in their medical practice and not an active participant in my own health and well being. My very first visit with Anna Ruiz Gruwell she noticed that I was on Lisinopril and also noticed I had a runny nose. She asked me how long I had been on this medication and then explained to me that this particular drugs main side effect was a runny nose and sinus congestion. She changed my blood pressure medicine and within one week I no longer had the symptoms that I had been struggling with for five years. Anna ALWAYS takes her time to find the true cause of problems and doesn't just write presciptions without a good reason like most doctors I have gone to. The receptionist Lyndsey is a total rock star and has the patience of a saint when I call many times a week sometimes as my health has some definate ups and downs she is always kind and helpful. Lisa who is Anna's nurse is definately a great asset for her medical practice. She is very knowledgeable and i can tell she really has true compassion for her patients. Anna Ruiz Gruwell has put together the best practice in the entire region and I can always trust her advice to get better or learn how to cope with the problems that I may never get an answer for. I highly recommend Anna at Unified Heathcare wether you are looking for a new healthcare provider or are looking for answers you may not have found at your current provider. Give yourself a chance to feel better again and go to Anna Ruiz Gruwell. I can guarantee you will feel like a participant in your healthcare and not feel helpless anymore. Just like on the tv show M.A.S.H. you get the best care anywhere at Unified Healthcare

I love how kind and helpful the staff are. The extended hours on Tuesdays is so helpful as well!

I was on medication that made me a zombie. My mom told about Unified health care. My first appointment Anna noticed right away i had to bounce my leg. I was out of medication before i came. Anna listed to my mom's concerns she had me answer some questions. Well that day i was prescribed a bipolar medication. Things were goig good. Anna asks questions and listens.She has made sure to check my blood work from the lab and noticed that i had hypothyroidism. Fixed it perscibed what i needed. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Anna and her staff are wonderful to me and my daughter. Very positive family atmosphere!
