This guy is mean, rude, terrible and unqualified in the service industry. I went to send international mail and copied all the necessary documents. But he doesn't know what he needs for it and he's just angry with me. He suddenly became friendly when someone with the same skin as himself came. He's just a discriminator, a stressful person who can't work at all. He is very very sorry. The other staff are pretty terrible, but he's particularly terrible. Please be careful, too.
USPS - if you’re wondering why your business is going down hill you should take a look at the rude staff that you employ here. I see in the reviews for this location, not only that this store has a low rating which is NOT surprising, but that two other people mention the same rude employee that I had the bad luck of dealing with today. it’s not a coincidence that I saw him being nice to men, but extremely rude to women, because the other reviews about him also say that he discriminates. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to just get this staff to help you mail something - considering this is a POSTAL SERVICE BUSINESS. The other reviews say his name is Jerome, and they are in fact correct that is he extremely rude and unhelpful.
Mr. JEROME, the guy on the picture in one of the previous reviews, is extremely rude. He refused to help me to put a certified mail sticker on the envelope, explaining that customers supposed to do it by themselves and he has lots of other customers to help there were 3 ppl after me. Dosens of times I mailed certified mail including from this office, but with other clerks and always sticker was attached by a clerk. Never again I step into this office and will definitely file a complain for not being served by usps and most likely being descriminated.
The staff was super rude. I went there with my husband because we need to mail our tax return. When we walked to clerk and she said one person only?? But we were together to deal with the same thing !! And the clerk next to me had two people together to deal with the things, why we couldn’t????? And then I just couldn’t hear some words very clear and just asking me did you understand English?? Super rude and not respect people, even discriminated!!!
Do not use the machines- have had a pleasant experience here every time however today I used a machine to purchase priority mail and waited on line to hand it over they wouldn’t take it told me to drop it I. The generic blue box and of course hours later still no tracking bc it’s probably sitting there. Buy it at the counter so they can actually prioritize it.
I had 3 packages to deliver at 114 John street in downtown manhattan I got there at 3:10 pm to find the place completely closed down. I checked the internet site and it said that it was closing soon at 4:00 pm it also said that it wasn't to busy this must be the way they treat their customers at all locations. To prove this customers must post a comment indicating this issue but be truthful about the comments. Hopefully they can fix this.
The hours on Google are incorrect. They open at 7am. It wasn't busy when I arrived around 9am and was the only person in line and was asked to stand by the door while one of the employees was taking her time getting settled. When I did get helped, it was very efficient, so that was great.
Staff are not necessarily friendly but I drop off my packages here on a regular basis and they get delivered in a timely manner. In one instance, I left my wallet at home so I asked if I could hold my place in line while getting it and as soon as I got back to the post office, the clerk who helped me previously let me come immediately to her without waiting in line again. All in all, this post office gets the job done.
Never, never have I walked into a place where EVERYONE is rude and useless. I don't think they could be any worse if they tried. I saw them yelling "no dogs" repeatedly at a visually impaired woman with a guide dog. And then claimed my package was not there, and when they found it blamed the sender, even though it was addressed correctly, but the internal yellow post-it note had the wrong address! Comically tragic - And we wonder why the post-office service has gone bankrupt?
Seriously, we trust USPS with voter ballots? How is that sane, when they can't be trusted with the packages someone drops off to be delivered? Why does everyone keep acting like USPS is to be trusted? Yes, they have great people, but they have bad ones too. Waiting for you to screen in a package you were given three days ago. If you're not going to bother even scanning in a package for half a week, you should have no right to charge priority fees. These people just don't care about anything.
