This place is the most disrespectful post office I’ve ever been to. I moved to the west side last year and I never had this many issues as I have here. My mail carrier purposely withholds my mail and when I do get mail delivered which is once in a blue moon and my mail box over flows I get everyone else’s mail. Addresses that are streets down from mine. I watched my mail carrier drive up, stop open my mail box and then drive away. I had to chase her down and ask her and she tells me something was blocking the box. NOTHING WAS BLOCKING IT. Not to mention my packages that won’t even fit in the box have been withheld because she doesn’t want to get down and deliver them to the door. I went to the post office to pick up my mail that I’ve been waiting days for and the manager was yelling at me and would not listen to the complaint I had. Good luck trying to come here and getting your mail
No matter what time you go in, you are going to wait in a long, slow line. I don't understand why they can't hire more help? Are they purposely trying to shut down this USPS location? This post office covers a very large residential area. It makes no sense to have one, if lucky, two people working the counter. It's not fair to customers/residents in the area and certainly not fair to the USPS employees who seem severely understaffed and overworked.
Just the third package in a month they lost. Such a worthless place. Incompetent to the core. How are they so incompetent that they cannot properly deliver a package. Typical NM government workers. Lazy. Uncaring. Incompetent.
If I could give negative stars I would because 0 stars is too generous for them. I literally never get my packages, and my house isn't hard to find or in the middle of nowhere. It's in a regular neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors 3 or 4 streets down deliver my packages because it went to them or my neighbors. A lot of times the packages just disappear and I have to go through the hassle of getting the companies to send them again. I also get random mail and packages for others that don't even resemble my address, and then have to go deliver it to them. We're all doing their job, because they're not doing it correctly. I don't use hate too often, but I hate this post office. They are the worst run post office I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I get that they have to deal with a lot, but they need to deliver mail and packages correctly, and they just don't do it.
**would give no stars if I could** Not sure if this post office is concerned with customer service, not even sure if they know what it means. I get it, staffing issues maybe but the current state of operations is not a path to success. No other way to put it....... Do better!
PKG box would not open and I cannot get my pkg. Called only number listed, on hold 20min only to be told I need to dial the local number. Called the local number that was provide... no answer called about 10x. One of the attempts sounded like they picked up then hung up. I am so IRATE!!!! If I could give negative stars in this review, I would!
Constant problems with my packages being delivered to the incorrect residential box or parcel locker. My neighbors often end up with my packages and I’ve ended up with the mail of several people who don’t even live on my street. These occurrences have gotten more and more regular over the last couple months. I went through the phone line customer care and was put through an automated process to report the issue and was told my inquiry would be addressed in 3-5 business days. People rely on USPS to properly deliver their mail in a timely matter and that is far from what is happening in my neighborhood.
What a joke. Post office that doesn't even have stamps, automated machine or in person. There has been service issues at this location for the last 20 years, but not having a way to send out mail at a post office is inexcusable. I'd be totally fine if the government stopped subsidizing them and they went out of business. Totally inept. You can buy all the stamps you want at Smiths:
A stunning example of American waste and bureaucratic bloat. A textbook example of the case for the American public to privatize the mail and run it like a business. Edit: Our mail carrier came out and connected with us, understood the problem and said he would fix it. He even gave us a way to connect with him in the future for faster responses. A much better outcome that happened from the "customer service" line. Just a shame that it took 3 hours, 3 phone calls, and 2 trips to the post office to resolve a simple issue.
We have been waiting for a priority package for over two weeks. The tracking number saying its delivered. We go to check and no answers to where it is. It says its at the mail box, but unfortunately we do not have a key yet, which is suppose to take a month. We keep being told that a driver is suppose to look into the box and call us if they find it or not. We still have had no phone call and no one to check the box.
