Story

Since 1978, Via Brasil has been serving the best of Brazilian cuisine, seven days a week.
Via Brasil's menu boasts an abundance of well prepared traditional Brazilian dishes, made with high quality meats, fish, and fresh ingredients. We also have daily specials!

For meat lovers, our ‘Churrasco’ -- skewered, flavorful cuts of meat slow cooked over an open flame -- makes for an ideal choice, as well as our grilled filet mignon wrapped with bacon in a hearts of palm sauce.

Fish eaters will be satisfied with the flaky grilled Salmon and pineapple sauce, filet of flounder topped with shrimp sauce, or our hearty Moquecas -- fish stew. For a lighter meal, try our shrimp sautéed with garlic, oil and fresh parsley, or Codfish and vegetable casserole. Stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to grab a quick bite and a drink. I am happy to say that this place did not disappoint. We were seated immediately and was given the greatest waiter ever! Alex :). He was very knowledgeable about the menu and pretty much any topic of conversation that you can have. We asked for a shot of tequila, and they gave us a double shot. The flan and chocolate truffle were just amazing! They had a live bad playing soft music to go with the atmosphere and the great food. Will definitely be coming back here. For those visiting, please ask to be seated with Alex. You'll have a really good time. Enjoy :)

Great drinks that are strong!! Good food.  Friendly and welcoming service. Would go back.  Live music on weekends for free.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Never tried Brazilian food before and I was delighted. Food was awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Really Good! I recommend the Filet doree com camrado. A fantastic dish. The wine is good and the ambiance is nice. The service was great. The food came out quick and cooked to perfection. In the heart of the city, its one of the best places I’ve eaten here. I will definitely be coming back.

Ótima comida, equipe excelente! Restaurante brasileiro que eu recomendaria em NYC... (As a Brazilian, I would recommend this place to taste real and delicious Brazilian food, plus very reasonable price!).
