Been a resident here for awhile the management was good a couple years ago and every year or couple months they get new owners which means the complex gets worse and worse. They get you on the amenities but you can’t use anything fire place outside area isn’t available, pool don’t even get me started. The gates always broken. I’ve been in almost 3 head on accidents while exiting my complex because people just see a gate opening and speed up to enter through exit gate. Forget about getting someone to get something fixed because you’re better off doing it yourself. I told them I smell mold in my complex and all they did was send someone to paint over the wall. It still smells. Save your money and get what you actually pay for.
EDIT: In their reply, they tell me to email the office. I have emailed and I still have no response. I have also called the office multiple times and I get told that they will speak to the manager and call me back. Still no answer. Do not rent here. My fiancé and I applied for an apartment in August 2022 to Vintage Pointe when we were moving from out of state, and the application process was a nightmare. We filled out the application multiple times and each time there was an issue, and we both paid for our application fees Around 350 dollars. We eventually told these people that we were not interested in renting here due to the absolute mess that it was to apply. If applying is a nightmare, living there may be a nightmare too! Months go by, and I get a call from a collection agency to pay 380 dollars in application fees and administrative fees, even though they already took that money out of our accounts. My fiancé and I never got a call or email from Vintage Pointe in that entire time about this issue. Literally ZERO communication. Now they are trying to mess with our credit. Horrible.
I have lived at Vintage Pointe since March 2021. It is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a property management company in my 33 years on earth. The property itself is nice. It’s kept clean for the most part. My apartment is overpriced and has cheap appliances but I’m ok with that. What I cannot stand is the customer service or lack there of of the property management team. First my move in experience was horrific. They told me two days prior to move in that they couldn’t move me in which forced me to be homeless for two days and reschedule all my movers. Then once I moved in I found tiny bugs coming through windows that aren’t sealed properly. This was sent to maintenance but never fixed. I had a pipe burst above my shower where water was clearly filling up. I put in 3 work orders and it didn’t get taken care of until the ceiling caved in on me as I was taking a shower. The pool doesn’t open until late May and is filled with rowdy children with no parental supervision. They charge you $40 to pay your rent with a debit card! Then when I submitted my money order they lost it and put a notice on my door! It was embarrassing! The final straw came today when I asked for a battery for my gate opener the gate is always broken btw and they told me they don’t have any so I have to go buy one. They front office people are rude, always have a attitude and never have a solution to any problem. Please for the love of God stay away.
Ok this is a first for me, in my 35 years of life, i am here at vintage pointe completing a delivery for a resident at 10pm and i am literally locked inside the gated apartment community, the automatic gate will not open i have been sitting here as have other cars trying to get in and out, for the past 45 mins trying to get out. I am minutes away from calling someone, 911 i dont know, i sure hope this is a gate malfunction because a gate that doesnt automatically open once approached is a first for me. Im dumbfounded right now as i sit and wait for what i have no clue, might as well pitch a tent or something.....
So many problems. Maintenance shows up 3 days later than you need them. Packages left in the mail room on the floor all the time and stolen. Mail room door was broken for 3 months and anyone could just walk in. Rent changes all the time. $1900+ for a 2 bedroom now? Office staff is rude and never work with you or explain anything. You have no access to your breakers. So if you lose power anywhere, you have to call the office and put in a maintence request. I went 30 hours with no power in my kitchen. Had to throw away all the food in my fridge and buy new groceries and pay to eat out for 5 meals. Terrible place. Started off nice. Glad to be leaving. Gates always broken as well.
I was so excited to move in this complex. Then I ended up with Covid, got laid off from my job unexpectedly, literally 3 days before I was to get my keys. I called to explain & Alexis was kind enough to ask her manager CARLA, about the administration fee of $300 that you HAVE to pay, on top of a $150 ‘approval fee’ and my situation. Carla basically said nope, too bad, no refund of the admin fee. I explained this was something completely out of my control & not done deliberately. Too bad so sad. If you are thinking of moving here, don’t, go somewhere that has actual compassion for applicants. So, I am out of a job, have no where to live & I am out $450 for something that is completely not my doing. Shame on you! I will be filing a formal complaint with cushman Wakefield. If you have the extra money to throw away…this is the place for you. Karma will come to ms Carla that is for sure.
My apartment is beautiful and clean, and the staff has been friendly and attentive. Maintenance completed my work orders timely and professionally, and he I wish I'd gotten his name was kind enough to help me with my fireplace I hadn't even put in an order for. I really like it here...
Yeah don’t live here. The only thing that’s nice is that they can keep up with the outside look to reel renters in, so y’all can buy. but once purchased and inside? It isn’t worth the money. Me and a couple of friends stayed here. WE ENDED UP BEING GANG STALKED/FOLLOWED BECAUSE WE COULDN’T AFFORD RENT! THIS IS A SLUM LORD. STAY FAR AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY. Go live elsewhere, all they care about is money. And this is a SLUMLORD, not an actual LANDLORD. I’m saving your time and money. Trust me.
Property management used to be so good here. Used to be able to use the pools, grills, gym anytime. Everything here looks good but is either inoperable, randomly denied access to, closes early, or is broken, and locked up. Don't get fooled by the amenities because you won't get to enjoy them. This property management doesn't care. At all.
Alex was very nice when it came to fixing my heater I put it my work request in the morning and he was here by lunch , very helpful very nice and very kind I love it here he even took out my trash.
