Viva Tacoma

A little bit of a wait. The space is very cozy and popular too. The service was friendly and prompt. We tried the black bean burger and the mac and cheese and they were both excellent. The house salad served with the burger was arugula which is a bit unusual. It wasn't my favorite. Next time I'll get the nachos! We also got a brownie a la mode. The brownie could have been warmer but it was very decadent without being too sweet. You couldn't even tell the ice cream was vegan! I am not vegan personally but I am allergic to milk and eggs. We drove up from Lacey and it was definitely worth it!

This was my first time going to a Vegan restaurant and by what I have experienced I will go back. I'm not a Vegan but I've been wanting to try it for some time. The food at Viva Tacoma was well worth the drive and money. The food was so good and it came out looking just like the pictures posted. We had the cauliflower wings as the appetizer they were so good and very tender I loved it, my daughter had the vegan nachos and I had the southwest black bean Burger with a salad and it was great. Also the server and the lady behind the counter were very attentive and friendly they gave really great tips for the food. And also came by and kept topping off our water and seeing how everything was, which is more attention than you usually get at some restaurants. With the experience that we had today I can honestly say we will be back. And also it's so great to be satisfied and not overly stuffed and feeling guilty of what you ate, not only that but I have so much energy now. Thank you Viva Tacoma for a great experience

Love coming here with the family when we're in the area. Food is very hearty and unique. Price for what you get puts this place high on my list. Great value. I do wish they had a bigger selection though.

FANTASTIC food and service! SOOOOO many vegan and gluten-free options. I can eat almost everything. I make it a point to stop here every possible chance I get when driving between Portland and Seattle. The *only* think I can complain about is that they close too early, and I don't always make it there before closing time. I have called ahead to order for pickup, making it just minutes before they closed, and they were more than happy to accommodate.

Pretty good but we find a lot of things are either too over done in flavor or texture, or lack in flavor all together. Everything is vegan and gluten free so that's nice. We've been here quite a few times and some things are good and others, not so much
