Walmart Vision & Glasses

Good prices, knowledgeable employees and pretty good selection. I've had a few problems with glasses, but nothing they wouldn't cover under warrantee.

Well I must say, James' review is not to be trusted. I recently had an eye exam at the Walmart Vision Center in Eagle...imagine my consternation when, not only was I not abused but to my surprise no one even ATTEMPTED to rape me. Instead, I received a thorough eye exam from a friendly staff, at a reasonable price. How boring..I'd hoped to leave with a story to tell, instead I left with a new set of affordable glasses. I'm not sure if it was the way I was dressed, or the fact that I am a thirty-something, balding, father of 2 but NOT ONE person laid a finger on me while I was there. Shame on you James for the misleading review. And shame on the Walmart Vision Center for not living up to expectations!

I had called on a Saturday morning to schedule a colored contact lens appointment for my birthday. The receptionist actually got me an appointment for a half hour from when I called. I was very pleased with the quickness of that. When I came in, I was greeted quickly and I immediately felt very welcome. I think it was Laura who helped me with my paperwork and while she was putting my info in the computer, I was able to go quickly buy a bottle of water before I went back. She did the pre-tests with me and was very nice and clear in her instructions and then I went in to wait for Dr. Luke Randall. He is a very nice Dr and I felt at ease completely, which is rare for me at any eyecare center because my eyes are very sensitive. He completed the contact exam and told me what was wrong with my eyes and he was very clear so I understood what he was talking about. I have never had an eye Dr tell me so clearly what is going on, so I really appreciated that. He then took me to another room and he pulled out 6 different colored contact lenses for me to try so I could decide which color I wanted. Laura came back in to help me and she was very patient since I was very indecisive, lol. Once I picked the turquoise ones, Dr. Randall came back in and checked to make sure that they fit my eyes properly and then, since I had to order my contacts, he gave me a trial pair to wear so i could get used to wearing contacts and show them off to my friends. He also gave me a little kit of Opti-Free Pure Moist multi-purpose lens solution and contact lens case so I would have a head start on storage. Check-out was very quick and easy. I was told to expect my order in seven to ten business days and they actually only took about 5 business days. A lot quicker than I expected. Overall, I was very, very pleased with the service I received and I am definitely making Dr. Randall my new eye care specialist. I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a convenient location and comparable prices should go see Dr. Randall and his team at Walmart. :) I am very pleased!
