The title of this review should be: “What did they check? Did they check what they said they checked? Does anyone have attention to detail so the customer can be confident that service is being completed? Somewhat rhetorical questions to which the answer would be no. When the preponderance of what was done was preformed incorrectly the customer has to wonder whether anything is done properly or is it all just a process of employees going through the motions. I had a poor experience with the service department on two occasions and then attempted to discuss it with the service manager—who I was told was in. After waiting on hold for seven minutes and speaking with the operator twice I was told they could not locate him and would I like to discuss the issue with someone else—my reply was no. My attempt to contact the service manager was indicative of my experience with Way Scarff. The common denominator seems to be no one pays attention to details and wasting the customer’s time is standard procedure. On my second visit in for service I went to have them check the “Check Coolant Additive” alert. I have an F350 Platinum Diesel Truck. On the first visit several boxes on the paperwork that should have been checked were not so it was unclear whether the service had been completed. The second visit was to inspect what was not checked on the first visit and then the Check Coolant warning. I was told the coolant additive was checked and was OK. When I arrived to get my truck after the second visit I was told it was located on a certain row. Well the truck was not there and for the next twenty minutes Scarff was looking for where they had put the truck. They also wondered where the key to my truck was or whether the key they had given me was for another customer’s truck. So they find the truck and instead of bringing it to where I was the tech took off with it and when he returned I asked why. Well it turns out they never reset the “Check Coolant” alert—the primary reason I took the truck it. After the first visit no one reviewed the paper work to determine whether it was completed properly and then after the second visit at least part of the work was not done—for all I know nothing was done properly on either visit.

Arranged to bring f150 in for recall and oil change so brought it in at 0730 am was told it would take 3 hours so figured noon pickup when I called at 1300 they had not even started the work on the recall work which make me wonder why I wakeup early to get it there at 0730 am.. Then when I got it home 1600 by the way I found oily hand prints on the hood where someone closed it and several oily hand prints down the side and on the door cards inside windows were smeared with oil, to me demonstrates a lack of customer caring and pride of workmanship

This is not a good place to buy a car if you want it detailed properly. engine compartment was dirty, I got no safety certificate, green algae on car. I asked the salesman to take care of it, but when I got it back the problem was still there. The sales man said they are not too good about that stuff. so I took it home and did it myself. Also I can’t remember ever buying a car without a free tank of gas. I never got the car fax until after I bought the car, and found out it was in a fender bender, my fault. My salesman was too busy and was having trouble keeping up with things. I was so involved in the transaction I forgot to get the car fax before I closed the deal. I had asked for it twice but he kept forgetting. Thru it all I bought the car but probably would not buy there again.

Found the Mustang I wanted on the dealer's web page. Called the dealer Friday night to verify it was still available. Talked to Jesus who told me it was still there. I told him I'd be in to purchase it in the morning. He told me to text him when I was on my way. The next morning I texted Jesus to let him know I was on my way. When I arrived at the dealer the car was set aside, waiting for my inspection and test drive. From the time I arrived at the dealer to when I left with a new car, it only took about 2 hours. That includes the test drive and inspection. Hospitality while I waited was great. After signing the papers, Jesus took me out to my beautifully clean 2018 Magnetic Metallic Mustang GT Premium, with a FULL tank of gas.

They did a good job on some warranty work and took good care of the car. However, on some none warranty work they gave me a very high estimate to repair a cooling system leak. I decided to do this work myself for a small fraction of the cost.
