I've been with Wells Fargo since 2016. I've banked in different cities throughout Washington and Oregon with this bank and have always had polite helpful service. The negative reviews surprise me. It seems people forget there's staffing shortages everywhere. The banks busy, but the tellers are always ready to help and answer questions. The services offered are helpful, and easy to understand.
Wells Fargo has overall been a great bank for me over the years. I have always received courteous and expeditious service at this branch.
I have been with this bank for 30+ years. Only because they took over a bank where my account was at. But the bank has done a good job at holding my currency over this time so why change. As of late the service has been cut back and I don't understand why. I do 90% of my banking on Saturday. It doesn't make much sense to me to take time off work to go to the bank. I'll have less money to bring to the bank if I have to do that so what's the point? And when they were open on Saturday the branch seems busy so it was a good service for a lot of customers. Today, 5-feb-22. They are no longer open on Saturdays. At least 5 vehicles showed up in the 5 minutes I was there and 3 went to go inside. As with me, we were annoyed they were closed. To top it off, The ATM could not dispense money. Ill ignore the fact that there is no drive-thru ATM in this town. It would be a lot safer for customers if there was. Lucky for me I could at least deposit some checks that I had been holding onto, that part of the ATM was operational. Banking here for me is going to cost me $45 a pop to take time off work to get what I need done. So if I need to loose out on wages to do banking here It will only happen once and that will be to close out my account, or leave just a penny in there. That should cover the cost of the monthly statements. I will be looking for a new bank today.
This place is a nightmare! I strongly suggest going to a credit union! It can take days to cash a check. The lack of communication between staff and customers is disgusting!
the banking is fine, never had an issue with it. but if you have any questions for whatever reason and can’t go in person and have to call them, you’ll just be wasting your time. i called the branch location several times and went to voicemail every single time. i tried calling their 1-800 number and it brought me through a bunch of promotions that were a complete waste of my time, just to have an AI answer and ask me what company i was trying to get ahold of. when i said “wells fargo” she said she didn’t have a match. totally useless. seems like a waste of time, gas and resources for me to have to drive 10-15 minutes in traffic to their branch to ask a simple question about my sister’s teen checking account and especially irresponsible considering we have been dealing with a pandemic for the last year. can’t wait to close all my accounts and not bank with them ever again.
Do not bank with Wells Fargo, period unless you are a business customer. I have had an account with them since I was 15 years old and I am cancelling it. They do not care about real people and lie to your face. Edit: I contacted the team provided in the owner response below, and am told I have to contact customer care AGAIN and jump through a ridiculous amount of hoops in order for Wells Fargo to assist a customer of over 10 years. You have lost your customer.
I used to love this bank...until several unauthorized charges appeared from Amazon. I reported it and they didn't close my card. Instead they allowed 20+ unauthorized charges to go against my account, money which I never got back. Then they closed my personal account + all of my business accounts. That was shocking enough but they wouldn't give me the balance in any of my accounts. I called the national headquarters and they said this was illegal and I had to go to the bank with the national headquarters on the phone before they would give me my money. There's a reason that WELLS FARGO has been in so many class action suits. They just keep breaking the law. In the 5 years I banked here they twice opened credit cards without my consent that's the last lawsuit they settled. Can't believe a national bank with such bad history is permitted to function. Needless to say I reported them to the FDIC. They violated more than 20 banking laws required by FDIC in my personal account alone. :0 That should give anyone pause. If you have ANY problems with WELLS FARGO, please please file a complaint with FDIC. They know all about WELLS FARGO and all of their shenanigans. They can at least help you get back some of your money.
Don’t ever plan on a wire transfer to go thru on time. Because they waited on processing my transfer me and my families move was delayed along with the closing of our house. I’m tired of calling this bank and following up to see if they are doing there job. All I know is someone needs to get fired and a example have to be made!
They do a good job at this branch. They move the line quickly and are polite and professional. They could do a better job answering their phones. I've called several times over the course of several weeks and rarely will somebody pick up. I now call Ferndale Wells Fargo when I need to speak to somebody as they pick up their phones.
The customer service team here is absolutely rude. Whenever I come in here I feel unwelcome and the teller always is giving me dirty looks and didn’t even ask if I wanted a receipt after a deposit! I switched to Chase. My final verdict is Great bank and a few terrible employees. I’m not the one to blame everyone but there’s a few people who’re always there that never have a good attitude or willing to provide service.
