West Palm Beach Brightline Station

I had a terrible experience earlier today. The staff is outright rude and they know it too, nobody took responsibility and apologized. There didn’t seem to be any supervision, just chickens with their heads cut off. Super unprofessional and I will never go back. We arrived at 6:50AM for the 7AM train and they seemed confused, they couldn’t scan my ticket and kept rushing us to the train. When I arrived at security they had no instructions, they guard started hastily telling us things that didn’t make sense and was disrespectful to my girlfriend, I wish I would of noticed his name to note in my complaint. I wanted to take a photo for the contest that they have going on in May 2018, I was yelled at by 2 different people that photography is not allowed. Then I was told “just get on the train, what are you doing?” In a very rude tone by an employee. At this point My girlfriend and I were so upset we didn’t feel like taking a round trip on this train; so we walked out. On our way out one of the security personnel asked if we had missed the train and we stopped to tell her what had happened and she reacted as if that is business as usual. I ride the Tri-Rail from Miami to West Palm regularly and was very excited about a newer cleaner train that gets you there faster but honestly I would never ride with Brightline ever again. More expensive and more attitude!

Visiting from North Carolina and needed a quick way to get from Ft Lauderdale to Palm Beach. What an amazing experience! The stations are GORGEOUS! Nothing like any other train I have ever taken here in the states. The select lounge is a nice touch, and worth the $15 ticket price. Parking is free, for now too. To top is off, the station has a coffee cafe/bar with all sorts of selections and even a select mixed drink special, for $5. Also, service available on board too. Overall, very quick, easy, and enjoyable experience.

The seats are hard and zero lumbar support. Lumbar area is actually depressed. Terrible design. Otherwise a 5 star experience. Select cabin seats need to be redesigned.

Way better & faster than driving from west Palm to Fort Lauderdale. Construction is still going on but still easy to get to parking& leave. All staffing was friendly & helpful although they usually are when a new business opens. I'm a tourist so I won't get to see the adjustments when it becomes more popular & crowded. I hope the staff, high service level & pricing stays but time will tell.

The Brightline was AMAZING! I paid a little extra for Select, and they treated me like luxury! I got free snacks and drinks, at the station and on the train! After, at Ft. Lauderdale, it was a beautiful day and I went to an art museum and walked around at the Riverwalk. Overall, I would love to go again.
