Deerfield Beach Station

I've been in and out of this Amtrak station many times. It's hit or miss on whether the train will be on time. There used to be checked baggage service here; however, they dropped that in 2017. I had to get my 50 pound suitcase on the train myself this last time! I'm disabled. Lucky for me, a nice passenger helped me with it boarding and getting it into the overhead bin. Getting off in Jacksonville, the Amtrak employee helped me. I really hope Amtrak will bring back the checked baggage to Deerfield. I make this trip about twice a year. I have enjoyed the trains going North much more than the ones going South. They are cleaner going North.

Fuxking terrible constant delays of stops in the middle of nowhere five hour ride yeah right your service us ridiculous and needs something to be done about it

This stations been here for many many years. Very easy to park and go (or even take the bus). Sometimes there's some weird people here and there but that's to be expected with public transit. Train is fairly reliable most of the time.

The train was over an hour late both outbound and inbound. Additionally, I had listed my number to receive text alerts regarding delays and never received any. Cherry on the cake? I tried to call the station to find out what's going on and there is no number listed and nothing, easily, found. I'll fly next time. 😡
