Wild Rose Casino & Resort

It's a quaint little hotel / Casino with mostly friendly people. Small gaming floor with only a few table games. The bar is very nice. Staff on the floor is nice, however upper management and cashiers leave something to be desired. Plenty of parking and a nice valet. Would be a good place to take the folks for an afternoon to getaway. But do not expect anything like the big Las Vegas scene.

It's like any other wild rose casino. Didnt pay out very well when I went. Maybe wrong timing. Nice bathrooms.

The only reason this place gets 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is because the restaurant has decent food and they bring in concerts that we would not otherwise have around here. As for gambling, the machines suck; I've never been in a casino with machines that tight. I can't speak for the hotel, as I've never stayed there.

First noticed the stale smoke and dirty air smell. The security person at entrance did acknowledge us, REST OF STAFF ENCOUNTERED VERY UNFRIENDLY. VERY. We both played various machines, we could not even get anything to play on!! I've never seen machines so tight anywhere. We have been to Emmetsburg a few years ago, a few times, and it was much better. However, Emmetsburg has probably gone downhill since then, since Jefferson is so bad. No more Wild Rose Casinos anywhere for me.

I five 5 stars for ALL the sore losers on here giving a 1 star! Poor babies lose their money and come on here and rate the casino poorly. Its a nice casino in small town Iowa. Very clean and super friendly people.
