Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo

Had dinner at the buffet on Friday night with a friend who flew in from Vegas. I, too, used to live there and food is always great. I've never been to the Isle so thought it would be great to go. Well, I hate to say that the food was less than average!! The prime rib was anything but good...tasted like an old dried out beef roast and was tougher than leather! No seasoning on it at all and anyone who loves prime rib knows it's a juicy, tender cut of meat. Crab was good, but that was about it. So very disappointed and won't be going back! Rest of food no better than a cheap buffet...too much money to pay for this dining experience!!

I've been coming here since its opened and I've always had a great time. They have amazingly comfortable beds. Great showers. Great Jacuzzis. And most of all great service. Thank you to all the isle staff!

Great place to stay if you want to get away and have everything you need in one location. Great food selection at the different restaurants and bars, Casino for entertainment. If you just want to stay in the room and have a romantic evening the room is nice and comfortable and clean. We loved the comfort of the beds, great nights sleep. The rates are surprisingly reasonable. Would recommend for families with children during the summer months because a water park is located adjacent to the Hotel.

We ate at the buffet and it was great! The food was fresh and delicious, and there was a wide variety to choose from. Our server was prompt, efficient, and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, but the smell of smoke coming from the casino interfered with our enjoyment of the atmosphere and food.

Went at 7:50 pm on a Sunday to eat at the buffet and gamble. Didnt realize the buffet closed at 8. The buffet staff was nice when informing me that it closed in 10 minutes, mentioned there other on site restaurant, but I wasn't interested. So I passed on the grub. Went into the gambling floor, had to get a player's card replacement, that exchange was quick. Went on to gamble, was there for around an hour and a half walked away +$7. It was a good night. Would love if this place eventually had a sportsbook.
