Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

Made a reservation. I called back 2 minutes later to cancel the reservation because we had a change of plans and they would not honor my cancellation without charging me for a night. We frequently use marriott hotels, particularly this location, and we are rewards members but the experience I just had left a sour taste in my mouth and I would rather utilize the many other great hotels in the area. I understand Marriott has a cancellation policy but I called back not more than 5 minutes later. I would have liked to been helped out. Instead, I was read some scripted line about policy 3 times. The customer service was slim to none.

I’ve never started in a room at this hotel. But I’ve attended a multitude of events at multiple event meeting halls (flexible rooms that allow for even larger spaces) plus the main hall with tall ceilings! I have been to Technology events all the way to roller derby event at this place. Simply amazing event location. They have a bar and a coffee shop inside.

Had a great time! Wish the coffee in the room wasn't strong enough to walk to you. Need more creamer in the room. A few areas could have used a little cleaning, but overall it was a nice stay. Great customer service. I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that was cleaning rooms on my floor, she was very hospitable!

Was here before and had a great experience. This last time I didn't feel like I had hot water for my shower. It wasn't cold, but felt like I could get it warmer during my previous visit. I don't know if it has to do with which side of the hotel you stay on our if occupancy had something to do with it. 24 hour fitness room is clean, nice, not big, but haven't seen it packed

I had a wonderful mothers day brunch. They have quite a spread and the staff were very accommodating. Omlette made and meats cut to order and a mimosa bar. They gave all mothers a rose and had a drawing for wine.
