I'm more and more finding it wise to listen to my mother, who is 90, and knows a thing or two. She gets her tires serviced here. I had a great experience with this company. I just bought a used truck which had a thumping noise/vibration from the tires. They correctly diagnosed the problem, explained everything, and didn't do any more work than necessary. The price was reasonable, and the service was friendly, efficient, and professional.

Used this shop for past 4 or 5 years for tires, brakes, oil changes etc. Last few visits disappoint. Service has gone down hill in last 12 months. Been forced to come back to fix issues created by shop doing simple inspections. Was refused service for a simple tire repair because they didn't have the time. Repair ultimately took 20 min at another shop. They've lost my business.

I've been taking my cars to this shop & their one in Germantown for tires and both routine & emergent maintenance for well over 10 years. While they haven't always given me happy news about what needs fixing; I have always been content with their service. I've *never* had a problem with their service or their staff at the front counter. Nor have I *ever* gotten that feeling I often get at car dealerships -- that feeling of having overpaid or of having been taken for a ride.

Very friendly, both on the phone and in person. Unfortunately, not a good experience in the end. I took my truck in for a simple tire balance and rotate, picked it up and went on my way. I immediately noticed that it was riding like a brick on my short ride home. I suspected that they had overfilled the tires with air so checked them. Sure enough, they had put 35 psi in each tire (the specification right in the door jamb is 30 psi). Okay, don't know why they did that but I let them all back down to 30 psi and that was fine. No big deal. As a matter of practice, I have learned over the years to double check the wheel lug nut torque on my wheels after I have them worked on by any shop. I have found that they usually way over tighten them and/or tighten them unevenly, so I always get a floor jack out and loosen them all up and then re-tighten them evenly to spec with a torque wrench. Upon doing this, I was very surprised (and actually shocked) to find that almost all of the lug nuts were barely more than hand tight. I mean I could easily loosen most of them with a small ratchet with one hand. The lug nut torque specification for this truck is 98 ft-lbs; I would estimate that most of them were no more than 10-15 ft-lbs. Had I not checked them there is no way they would not have loosened up completely while driving which could have potentially been quite dangerous. I called the store the next day and spoke to the manager who listened to my concerns, and was very pleasant and offered me a full refund. I was very happy that he did so, but not so happy that he did not seem too concerned about what had happened. Later that day, I went back to the shop and again spoke with the manager, who gave me a refund. He was again very pleasant and polite. But it was clear he did not want to engage me in a conversation about what happened when I tried, and seemed more concerned with getting me out of the store as soon as possible. I understand people make mistakes and stuff happens. But the scary part is about what might have (and probably would have) happened had I not checked my lug nuts. And what about the other 99% of the customers who do not check these things because they should not have to? I understand they were just taking me at my word about what happened, as I had no proof at that point. But I was very constructive and specific about my experience, and gave them a chance to react appropriately. This was a very dangerous condition that my vehicle was left in, and I feel that a sense of concern rather than ambivalence would have been the appropriate response. Had I gotten a different response, I would have given them another chance with my other vehicle. I really try to support local businesses, but I cannot afford to go here again or recommend them based upon my experience.
