This is a not a trans friendly store! I was there on Halloween trying to get a last minute outfit and already knew it was gonna be bad for me as soon as I walked in. The two people that were there completely ignored me until I said hello, I was looking around for skirts and asked if they had a specific skirt and all she did was point towards an area and said no words I was the ONLY person in the store . Couldn’t help to feel like I was being watched the whole time. Once I found what I needed I went up to the counter to pay and still no words were said to me, no “did you find everything ok” etc. I then asked if they had any bunny ears and she quickly said no. I turned around to look at their accessories rack and guess what I saw…bunny ears. I was too nervous at this point and almost felt like walking out but I hadn’t been able to find a skirt anywhere so I just went ahead and tried to pay. I asked if they did Apple Pay and she shook her head no without looking at me and continued to ring me up. I stopped her and said I’d be back because I needed to get cash. She took the item I was gonna buy and placed it on the side and just stared at me. I’ve never been made to feel so worthless at a shopping store in my life. I ended up going to forever 21 and just bought a mini dress there.
If i could give this store a ZERO i wouldn't even do that. I've worked at Clackamas growing up and know that customer service can be tough here sometimes. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing Store manager and leads, who taught me the proper way to be professional in those situations. I was escorted out of Windsor today due to the manager not having the proper customer service skill or respect for me coming to her as and adult. I came to this store to buy my twin daughters Homecoming dresses for their first dance EVER. This is the last time i will ever shop here or anyone i know. The red headed manager yelled not nicely at my 7 year old not to hang on a rack and to get off or he will break it. Like really? Theres a nice way to say thing especially to a child, but I would never number 1 allow my kid to be destructive or hang from any object in a store. He simply had his had on a rolling rack that was in the middle of where people walked. When i heard her say this in a rude tone. i turned and said. " Excuse me?Please do not ever address my child. if you need to say anything to him let me know, and i will. " she walked off pushing the rack into a back room slammed the back room door hard . I told the employee at the front, She shouldn't ever address anyones child like that and not mines when im next to him. That can be a problem. . i continued to shop, no scene just carried on. 5 min later while shopping and fixing my daughters dress at the fitting room, she came out huffing and puffing saying i was threatening her and if i did again i would need to leave her store. I asked her how? She decided she wanted to called security anyway. Everything took a turn at that moment. I said i wasn't leaving when they arrived. I am allowed to defend my child. She was such a coward she couldn't even give a real valid reason as to why my girls couldn't purchase their dresses with their own credit cards. saying " They cant shop here either." smh. this was crazy. Not only was she rude, unprofessional and a horrible example to the rest of the employees, she bullied another girl at the front desk into saying she did in fact ask me to leave. which was a lie. Racist woman. She was mad the moment we walked in. I laughed because when i look at this individual. It's obviously they don't even care for themselves, their demeanor, presentation and attitude was disgusting. I called corporate, i will be filing a complaint with the mall as well and getting her removed. based off of the comments it sounds like this is not the first time she's treated customers unkindly. You will have a better experience shopping at another store. If you like to shop while getting followed, dirty looks and have a manager who acts childish angry person go here. I am expecting a call from corporate. 2weeks later still waiting on a call. Do you all notice how the "owner" only responds to 5 stars?" I can not wait for my call. JOKE
Cheap quality clothing that's still pricey. Everything looks good on a mannequin until you come closer to look at details. Stores ambience omehow seem.. stale???
Shopping for mom was a success here!! Lots of options and great customer service!
I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews of places, but this Windsor store has frustrated me so many times. I had come to try on dresses for my prom coming up, but both times I had driven nearly 2 HOURS to do so, they said their fitting rooms were closed due to “low staffing” and an hour long lunch break. I don’t remember staff catering to your every need in the fitting room, that having a few less employees makes it so you have to shut them down. And if theft were the fear, isn’t everything security tagged? If not everything, the most expensive stuff? And it’s not like I could buy a dress and return it later if I didn’t like it or if it didn’t fit, because they have a no return policy for special occasion items. The employee I talked to said there was nothing they could do about it even after I explained I lived far away. When I was there earlier in the week it was not busy at all, and they could have easily had the fitting rooms open with no problems. I just think they were too lazy and didn’t want to deal with having to put dresses back WHICH MOST CUSTOMERS DO THEMSELVES ANYWAYS. Honestly, if it weren’t for them having the only dress I wanted, I would never shop here again. And since they neglected their customers from doing the one thing necessary for buying a prom dress, lots of girls now have to wait weeks in hopes that the dress they wanted comes back in stock online and in stores, because I know I definitely have to do that.
Dress selection was great. Customer service not so much. We were shopping for a formal dance. We had just started pulling things to try on all short dresses and made a comment about trying on a long dress for fun. Girls were only wanting short dresses. The clerk told us we were not to try them on for fun. I let her know we were actually shopping. And she said we could put them all away ourselves. She had uncalled for attitude and didn’t change when she realized we were actual customers. It was first thing in the morning so not like she had been dealing with people all day. When we were ready to check out she was yelling at the other employees and cussing at them as well. She was one of the managers. Absolutely not the way to act or treat your customers.
Good for my wife, not so much for me.
I was there today 3/24, and this really lovely girl, who just had been promoted there, was so sweet and knowledgeable. The cc machine was down, not their fault, and she was kind enough to hold my clothes. Like everywhere else they are short handed, but the associates are really trying. I applaud all of them for doing retail, it's not easy, but they really do try their best at Windsor and I love their service and their clothes!!
The cashier was rude! I didn’t have my receipt and I was trying to return a dress that didn’t fit me and even if I had the receipt they wouldn’t give me my money back. When I spend $110 I expect to get my money back, not store credit. I apologized and said “it’s okay I’ll keep the dress” and they lady kept going and ignored me and afterwards gave me attitude, because of how “complicated” I made it. After that I was shopping in the store and the same girl kept looking me up and down. This store needs more kind people and better customer service. Other than that the clothes are cute but.. I might just stick to Vancouver’s Windsor when they open.
I have never left a review on anything before but what happened earlier today was absolutely absurd. My little sister was diagnosed was brain cancer last year and cannot use her right arm/hand due to the tumor. Today my mom took my sister prom dress shopping and stopped by windsor to look at dresses. My sister needed assistance trying on dresses and as my mom is helping her the manager tells my mom that she cannot help my sister despite my mom telling her my sisters situation. The manager didn’t care and proceeded to tell my mom only one person in the dressing room and walked away in a very rude manner. I understand this is policy because concerns of stealing, but my sister needed help getting dresses on and off. This made my sister very upset and embarrassed. Action needs to be taken because this is not the first time we’ve had a bad interaction with the staff, they are all very rude and not welcoming at all. This is truly not right.
