Winn Transportation

I utilized Winn Transportation for my daughter's wedding. A limousine transported the bride and her bridal party to the venue from the hotel. A 55 passenger bus for the wedding guests was used to transport from the hotel to the wedding venue and returned at the end of the reception. The limo and bus were in good condition and lovely inside. The drivers were pleasant, professional and prompt in arrival and departure. Prompt and timely service was key to keeping the wedding on time. Would highly recommend Winn Transportation.

My family had a miserable trip home from Washington DC yesterday, coming home from a school field trip, stuck on a bus with a broken AC. I called the manager the following day, before submitting my review. He was very dismissive, stating the a.c. worked, just not very well. Of course nothing was going to be done to refund the cost of the busfair as I am not the school administrator that arranged the contract. As far as the owner comments below, you are right, I wasn't on the bus. I was at work making money to pay you to transport my family, comfortably. You failed to do so and my rating is fair and applicable. Your reply shows your ego is bigger than your heart. No sympathy, no ambition to do what is right, no mention of what changes in policy you are going to make to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I called to check on prices for a trip to museum in Washington. Very pleasant lady took my information and then when I called to check on things and to ask about another trip another lady I believe her name was Debra was rude and had an awful attitude. My group took a trip to Washington D.C., we had an awesome driver. When I called back to express thanks for our driver I talked to same lady and was telling her how the bus was dirty and it was awful smell. She didn’t apologize and left it alone. Even though I wasn’t the head sponsor of group I express my concerns. I think this has been worse we have experienced with the company.

We used a total of five buses to transport on rehearsal evening and wedding the next day, for our daughter's wedding the first weekend in October. I found Winn Transportation to be extremely responsive and easy with whom to do business. They were flexible and gave good advice regarding the movement of guests from place to place. The contracts were clear and the staff were most helpful during the planning. The wedding was at Upper Shirley Vineyards in Charles City and the guests were primarily in Richmond. The drivers were reliable and courteous and the motor coaches were clean and comfortable. I would use Winn again for sure!

I am currently on a bus returning from a Washington D.C.field trip and our 4 buses have pulled into a parking lot because 3 of the 4 buses have broken AC. The 4th bus has very poor AC. Refunds are definitely in order. It’s 90 degrees outside and this is ridiculous!
