Dr. Pete or whatever his name was, was horrible & very very very rude. I was there 2 & half hours. One year old had a fever gone we got there. 5 year old was in pain. They didn't give either one of them anything for pain or fever. I'll never take my kids back there

Very, very, very slow hospital. Arrived here at 12:30pm kid was complaining about abdominal pain. Did not see a doctor till after 5:30pm.

I'm going to go on a rant for a minute here... My grandfather was in Louisville ER a week today for signs of a stroke. We stayed in that ER for 8 hours... 8 solid hours without seeing a doctor. Not that they were busy because we were basically the only ones there. If they were busy I could understand... The doctor finally came in after 8 hours just to say. It's dementia. And high blood pressure. He took no other tests. NOTHING. Gave him a sleeping pill because he said my grandfather was irritated. Wouldn't you be irritated if you have been sitting there for 8 hours you have NO idea who the people around you are and your blood pressure is sky high? They sent him home. We, assuming it's dementia are less worried then we previously were. Until 8 hours later when he can't even WALK or TALK. We rush to baptist where they run tests and find out he's had a severe stroke. And now he's in a rehabilitation center. And we are praying he gets this skills back. This could have all been caught early if we had the right doctors and tools but instead We are spending millions for a new hospital where doctors won't even do their job.

Dr. Henry in the ER is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME and the nursing staff is too!! It's just sad that you have to travel outside of your own city (STARKVILLE) to get good quality and compassionate health care!!
