Y&J Alterations and Shoe Repair

I went in to get a dress altered for a wedding and after trying on the dress for the lady that does the alterations and her pinning the area that needed to be altered she did not finish the alteration. After i came out the dressing room, the lady suggested I alter the dress myself. She informed it was a simple task and that I could do it on my own. I then informed her that I did not know how to sew and she went on to try and explain the steps to me. She was uninterested in helping and showed no customer services. She brushed me off as if my needs were unimportant. I don't usually get alterations and I was referred to her but I deeply regret walking to her shop. She was rude and showed no concern for me.

I called this place three times this morning and no one answers the phone. I’m giving two stars instead of one because I can’t comment on the actual work they do but I think it’s really unprofessional that they don’t answer the phone associated with their business listing.

She was very accommodating. I needed a bridesmaids dress altered(length) and she was able to finish it in a week.
