Dr Shoe-Worthington

I had a pair of Johnson and Murphy shoes that were about 2 years old. The shoe itself was in perfect condition, but the rubber soles were worn completely thin. I took them in and, for $40, Dr. Shoe repaired them like new. He said that these soles aren't made to repair, but he can work on them and fix them up. As many other reviewers state, he's not the friendliest guy, but his work is great. I was literally going to throw these shoes away, but he gave them new life.

Took some shoes to be cleaned and polished. $20, prepay. Don't mind prepaying, but it took a week, and the soles had not been cleaned, and I found spots on the upper parts. The owner was there, so when I objected, he had them cleaned. Was going to buy shoe polish, but the product was dry and cracking. Not impressed with this place.

Dr. Shoe added loops and D rings to the sides of a handled Coach purse so that l could add a crossbody strap. Cost a bit over $50.00, but looks like they always had been there. Exceptional work. Took two weeks, but well-worth the wait. Check out Etsy for hand made leather replacement straps as Dr. Shoe does not carry rolls of straps like other leather artisans.

Had a zipper on a boot repaired along with a strap on my purse. Did and great job for a reasonable price.

I recently bought a older Louis vitton neverfull GM purse. They were able to clean it and repair one of the leather straps. They also went above and beyond and put leather piece on the bottom of the purse to cover the ink stains with no charge. The purse looked perfect when I picked it up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
