The Yough River area in it's entirety is to say the least beautiful. The city of Connellsville down to West Newton, has various activities that you and your family can enjoy.You can rent canoes to enjoy the river, I can't remember the exact location but its near Perryopolis, and you can rent bikes as well,to enjoy the river and the river trail.So there are a lot of things you and your family can enjoy,as well as festivals throughout the year that the different municipalities put on as well.So by all means pick a nice week end day,and take your family or a friend,or even just go yourself and take in all that mother nature has to offer,YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTE

It's a river- It's quiet, you can float and fish it, there's a couple rope swings. Not sure why anyone would rate a river. 5 stars.
