The facility is very spacious, but the entrance was tricky to find. Clean and neat inside and out. It was not very crowded since it was around lunchtime. The attendants were polite and efficient. One even found that my account was still eligible for a discount. There was no line to get tickets. We bought popcorn and a soft drink. Food at theaters is still overpriced. We enjoyed the movie. The ac was very comfortable and we were the only ones at that showing.
very bad experience. my two friends and i 13 and 14, went to watch the barbie movie today 06/05/23. it was us three and two other people in the theater. we were taking pictures BEFORE the movie started, lights were on and everything. less than halfway through the movie the manager came to us and said she had gotten a complaint from the other costumers that we were being disruptive and loud. after that, we didn’t make a single noise and not even 10 minutes later, another worker came and the manager has told him that we were being asked to leave and if refused, the cops would get involved. we asked what we did, even though we sat there quietly and didn’t make a single noise and he said, “i can not disclose that information.” so we left, after that, my parents came and asked for a refund and what happened. the manager had an attitude with all of us and she didn’t even intend in giving us a refund until my mother said something. they all had an attitude with us, and did end up getting a refund in the end, and they didn’t even give us a full refund. horrible place, and we are never coming back.
Love this theater located at the Wharf. We buy their monthly movie pass and go see all the new movies when they come out. They are never crowded but do close pretty early, if you come 10 minutes late to their last movie of the day the doors are locked.
Purchase of tickets ahead of time on Fandango. We went on a Monday night, four in the party. We purchased drinks and popcorn- very fresh popcorn, all was good. The theater itself was very clean, seats were in good condition, floor was clean. Some disappointment that there were no recliner type seats.
Clean but very expensive treats. They told us ten times to turn off our phones...really! Loads of commercials. Now I remember why I stopped going to the theater. $7 to see the movie and $20 for a coke and a bag of stale popcorn.
I had made plans to see a particular movie but when I got there the projector was down, so I was unable to see the movie. Ian took really good care of me.. he offered to let me see another movie but it was starting too late so I had to pass on that showing. He was very apologetic and gave me a pass for another day. Will definitely be back. Even though I wasn't able to see the movie it was still a great experience.
Monday night. $68 just for 4 tix, not including refreshments. Pretty low brow theater. Feels like 2003, not 2023. Janky seats. No alcohol. Hardly any employees. Very disappointing. Won’t be back despite visiting the area often.
Used to love going here as it was less crowded than other cinemas. Now they plan on having assigned seating according to how much you pay? Least to say I will no longer go to an AMC theatre and be forced to sit next to someone when I prefer space even if I sit in the nosebleeds. Way to screw things up even worse for an almost shuttered business. Don’t think you guys will make it through this fiasco unless you backtrack these stupid ideas to try and make more money off customers when it’s already $80 date for 2 people with drinks and popcorn…
Always, clean, discount maintenence and friendly. Great location with plenty shopping and restaurants.
Don't know if it was just because everyone else was too busy running around doing beach stuff, but we had the whole place to ourselves both times we went. It was nice.
