Clothing is great, and I love their jeans however the customer service and operations of this particular store leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a few items off the store app for pickup which promises ready within two hours. Which, this is really important for this location because many many people come from out of town to shop in Sioux Falls. I even called just to check on the order about an hour and a half in and even let them know that I was from out of town, the girl who answered simply told me when it’s ready it’ll be ready, and low and behold it was ready well after the two hour promise and well after I’ve left town. I don’t like to make assumptions, but I feel like whoever it was I talked to was petty enough to make sure it took as long as possible. I submitted the order at 4:30pm and received the order ready notification about 7:50pm, about 10 minutes before they closed. Thankfully, I did find a different purchase elsewhere as I was shopping for pants to wear to a funeral and NEEDED to find something but it doesn’t excuse the poor service in fulfilling their store pick up orders.
Beautiful people, great sales that day. Spent too much but way worth the price. Will be back for sure.
Nice clothes like the rest of the American Eagles, but this one was not very well kept. They seemed to not have a ton of helpful staffwhich I understand the staffing shortage, but still could have used help. The one sweatshirt I purchased, however, was sea foam green and had a bright blue splotch on the hoodie pocket. I guessed it was something I dropped in there, but I didn’t have it near me or out of the bag until I was to the car. Nice store, upsetting products.
I came in here with absolutely no clue what I was doing and a lovely employee, said her name was Heidi when I asked helped me find the perfect style of jeans without me even asking. She was the perfect hype girl in the dressing room and made my experience at American Eagle one to remember.
It was a good store for mmy granddaughter to shop in. She has a hard time finding good fitting clothes and she found several items that she liked and that fit well.
This store is such a hit or miss. Submitted an online order, got a text it was ready then got a text it was backordered? when i called ae customer service literally told me they didnt know so call the store i requested for pickup, their phone connection is also not good and laggs so good luck trying to talk to customer service if you need to, but anyways so i did, the person i got was so so rude to me, she never said her name. i am always so nice and patient-i too work in customer service, so i dont think i was the problem here. she put me on ‘hold’ to go ‘look’, she never put me on hold and i heard her say “we dont have it, im not actually gonna go look” then picked up and, very rudely stated that i should call aerie down the hall and ask them and hung up on me before i could say anything. the aerie manager and megan were very very nice and helpful. american eagle ended up cancelling my order and i missed out in the promo. but i just cant shake how rude she was to me and about me to her coworkers. makes me almost not want to support american eagle anymore which makes me sad.
Kayla was amazing, i inadvertently purchased 5 flex jeans instead of the regular ones. When i returned them she was able to order what i wanted and had them shipped to my house. Super helpful and patient. Thanks
I don't think I've ever seen slower cashiers. Every time I'm here it takes 15 minutes to get through the long, slow check out lane.
I like going here for the American Eagle boxers, always comfortable. Nice pants selection too
Cute merchandise with a nice variety to pick from. Employees asked if we needed help. Checkout person was friendly. Would shop there again.
