Wish I could have experienced the Sam’s Club Cafe, but it decided to close two hours earlier than its posted hours.
Can't use scan and go unless they get your gps location....like where else are you scanning and going if you're not in the store? To add to the utter stupidity and failure of this store you can select a 7-8am pickup....but the store doesn't open til 10am...and they send a "your order is ready" at 630am. Let's see when ordering online it will let you get all the way to checkout before removing items "low in stock". However when you get to the store and go inside there are usually several pallets of the "out of stock" item. Sure at first I thought maybe they hit a low level limit? Well not the case sometimes there are only 50 items left sometimes hundreds. Poorly run place, but very nice employees.
WARNING FOR PICKUP SERVICE!!! Usually great option and would highly recommend, but due to weather, the assistant manager stopped pick up service unbeknownst to any customers waiting!. I'm all about safety but the rain had stopped and the pavement was drying and sun was shining, BUT the staff was still not allowed to deliver groceries. So, be forewarned, I HIGHLY SUGGEST avoiding pick up during inclement weather conditions unless you desire to wait for an unknown amount of time with reasons beyond common sense and without notification.
I was working as a delivery driver and parking lot pick-up to wait for the associate to come. I read the information on my mobile phone and the lady with the red long hair knocked on my car's glass so hard! I was so scared! I thought it was something with an emergency. I was so mad at her and told her that I could not see her coming. I could not hear as I am deaf. I told her about my deafness. She seemed not to happen! I was not impressed with her! She needs to be gentle to meet me and contact by eyes each other. So I was not appreciative that situation!
Small but lots of stuff and best service I’ve ever had at a Sam’s I saw the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I told her so, and she was soooo flattered. I guess she doesn’t realize every red-blooded man who sees her has the same thought.
Sam's Club is great. But there were two random guys going up to cars. And one came up to me and I said no..go away..and he would not. So I drove to a different area to get away from them. I did tell them inside. But it was a bit stressful
Place is awesome but that men’s bathroom WOW! the amount a poop laying around is astonishing every stall some one missed the toilet , people are gross…
What is there not to love about Sam's Club? They are much cheaper than the competition on most items and this store is clean and well run. Also top off your car with gas with the cheapest gas prices in town before you leave.
I worked there a short time. Had to leave because I felt I was being forced to call a man she/her. The other ladies and I were never told to beforehand. It wasn't asked of us to do until the co-worker got in an argument with me. 2 managers took me up to the office Don&Sarah. They were more worried about me and the other ladies calling the co-worker by she/her, then him following behind me to argue with me! Manager Sarah even yelling at me saying "She Her!". I left the office feeling low. I tried to work peacefully with the co-worker, even though this male co-worker was giving me mean looks the whole time. Everytime I came back from break, he would change all the work I just did. Now if I did that, I would of been called hateful. Manager Don didn't talk to him about it, only wanted to move me to a different department even though I was there longer. I'm sorry but I won't be forced to call someone, something they aren't ‼
I was hoping this review was going to go better. My experience started on 13 March while requesting a donation for a benefit that we are having for a local family in need after an accident. Manager #1 don't believe it was a manager. "Ya we can donate you can come pick up a gift card at customer service" I ask for her name and she hung up the phone. I email the online customer support where I am told that the local manager can approve up to $1000 in merchandise or monetary donations. Phone call #2 Manager, again just said hello didn't give a name. "You need to come and get a form to fill out .. Visit the store, get the form, very nice customer service but she says oh no, I hope it can be approved it should have been filled out 30 days prior. WOW I had reached out to CS in SF and online 3 times now first time hearing that. Call SF CS on 4/3/23 and talk to a very nice gentleman I believe his name was Aaron tells me that all the managers that can make that kind of decision are on a conference call, call on 4/4/23 speak to another nice female customer service member that said she will leave Michele a note to call me first thing in the morning. That way if they were unable to help with the requested items I could work the other avenues. Call this morning, ask for Michele, get placed on hold..someone get on the phone and says hello and I asked is this Michele. She said no...I said may I ask who this is, she said just come get your $25 gift card, I said pardon and she said YES just come get your gift cart. We are very thankful for anything we receive. But, the service should have been much kinder, I could have been working with other businesses sooner, had I known that the request would result in the $25 GC. Customer Service is really lacking at the Sam's club in SF.
